I'm so obsessed with their custard... I don't even think It needs toppings/mix ins.. it's perfect and always brightens my day. And in this economy the prices are almost unbelievable. I'm so happy I can take my family for a quick sweet treat without spending a fortune.

Came here after some ugly ahh kid working at Andys called me ugly unprovoked. We were looking at the menu and he wanted to impress his friends by calling us ugly. Anyways. The ice cream here was good and the girlies were so nice! Cheered us right up!

Recently moved to the area and this place caught my attention after driving by a couple times. I eat ice cream at least 3 times a week at different places and I decided to try this a few days ago, BOY was that a great decision! This is now my favorite ice cream/custard I've ever eaten. I've been there every day this week. ?

My first visit here, and I was not impressed. Couple of reasons: they were quite busy, with a line at the drive through and several groups waiting out front. Although there was no line to place your order, it took a pretty long time for the custard to come out. Either they were understaffed, disorganized, or not moving quickly enough in the back. What made it worse was that 2/3 of our items were given out (no order number announced, just the name of the item), by 2 different people, but one after the other, and then it took like 15 more minutes to get the 3rd item after my husband walked up and asked for it. I found the menu confusing, but whatever. My biggest complaint is that there is no bathroom and nowhere to wash grubby little hands, and the napkins are thinner than the cheapest single ply toilet paper. Practically useless. It took a whole wad of them just to wipe my toddlers mouth a single time. Also there’s not enough seating. The custard was fine.

My wife and I had to fly home (too soon) from the St. Louis area, and stopped at Silky's Frozen Custard on the way, to partake of some custard.
So happy!! My wife ordered the Ooey Gooey Concrete Custard with pecans. (I love her even more for letting me try some of this.) Wonderful flavor and textural contrast provided by the nuts.
I ordered a large Strawberry Shake. (Thanks for the extra-wide straw, Silky's.) Again, an absolute strawberry-taste pleasure.
I understand there are a number of Custard places in the area. From my admittedly limited experience, I recommend visiting one of the several Silky's Frozen Custard locations. You won't regret it.
