Amazing food with wonderful staff. Very clean and efficient. I had a goat entree and my husband had a chicken entree. The spice levels were perfect. We will be coming back!

If you want to have mediocre Indian food and wait over an hour for your food this is the place to go. Plenty of better options in STL such as flavors Indian cuisine

We had an intimate birthday dinner at Spice Mantra and overall, we were not disappointed!
For Drinks– we tried the Heniken & Kingfisher Premium Beer, a Dirty Martini, a Lychee Martini and a Spiked Mango Lassi. The cocktails were nice and strong! Highly recommend the Spike Mango Lassi but the drinks were a 7/10 overall.
We ordered the Punjabi Samosas, very yummy and fresh.
For Dinner– we ordered the Garlic Butter Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikki Masala, Chicken Biryani and Lamb Biryani. Our waitress asked our spice leve preference for each dish. Spice Level 2 was not bad, Spice Level 3 was a bit spicy but Spice Level 5 was HOT! Very. Hot. The food was fresh and flavorful. 10/10 for sure!
The service was decent, our waitress was not super attentive but she was very friendly.
We’d definitely recommend and plan to go back and try more soon!

I am a vegetarian and love that there are so many options for me! I had the spicy veg noodles that are a spice mantra special. The dish was so yummy! I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

We have gone a few times since opening & each time I come away so impressed. The food is so great, you can customize your spice level, and the wait staff is so kind.
Dietary restrictions: A TON of great gluten free options! Be careful if you have a nut allergy though.

The food was absolutely amazing! First time coming and I will definitely be back, so much flavor in each dish. I got the lamb tika masala and it was the best lamb I’ve had in a long time.

Definitely one of the TOP 10 WORST dining experiences I’ve had. Visited this place for dinner after seeing them on social media. It started with complete disorganization, the main entrance was closed-off and the ‘open sign’ was OFF but signage, and google, stated they were open until 10pm. It was 6:45pm when we arrived, seating was also difficult, booth sections of the dining room were “closed” but others were seated there during our stay? Customer/food service was HORRIBLE, food took forever to come out, the tables that arrived well AFTER us were being served while it took almost 30min to get a “crispy chicken” appetizer which was SOGGY upon arrival. Plates arrived to the table 20 minutes apart, mine was cold by the time my husband’s arrived and this was AFTER we notified the waiter. There was not one apology or sense of urgency during the whole fiasco. Ambiance is loud and overwhelming. There are SO MANY BETTER PLACES FOR INDIAN FOOD. BEWARE!
