Not the Steak ‘n Shake you grew up with. Service and atmosphere are low because there was none. Ordered through a kiosk, 3 minutes to get drink, and wait for your name to be called. Then you sit down cafeteria style. Burger and fries were just as good as I remembered.

This is a reminder to check your bag before you leave. My boyfriend and I ordered food online. The first time we walked in the workers were unwelcoming. We just grabbed the bag and left. When we arrived home we saw that food was missing. We drove back to the restaurant and showed the man at the front the online and print receipt. He proceeds to rudely ask if we have the bag. I didn’t think I had to bring the entire bag to the restaurant for THEIR mistake. We told him just the receipt and he walked away. He walked up with my missing burger that was just left out in the restaurant. He did not give me a bag to place my burger in. His hands were greasy from cooking food in the front. My hand is completely greasy from the wrapper. He did not apologize for the inconvenience and was rude. The service is terrible here. The food is good.

Very rude customer service from both the drive-thru attendant and the manager. Refused to give me a small cup of House Mayo. Demanded I take the packets which are different mayonnaise from the ones they put on the burger. The two large fries were extremely overcooked and were not worth eating. This location is suffering from poor management.

Did not have a great experience. The self serve setup here is truly dire. The kiosk asks for a tip up front. Does it come back to me because I'm getting the food and drinks and bussing the table. When you cut out wait staff you also cut out someone to restock cups, clean tables, mop the floor. Was I supposed to do that too? Is there a qr code to scan that unlocks the mop closet?

I was worried they would go out of business, but some how, this place has gotten it together. Hamburgers are just like the old days thin, well done with crispy edges. French fries are usually very good. Buns get a little greasy, but overall a huge improvement over a yr ago!!! Chili is great. Order takers are nice, friendly and efficient. This is not fast food, it's food made to order remember that please.
Parking: Plenty of parking on side and a few places in front of restuarant.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there is a lids menu.

Went on 10/13/24 for a quick lunch. After putting in my order, at 25 minutes I talked to the manager to cancel my order and just take my money and leave. She made it fast and fresh, made it bigger and some free cheese sauce. The food was great though at least.
