I was looking for a brewery to check out in the area and heard nice things about trivia brunches at Third Wheel Brewing. The seating was spacious, with large tables and plenty of people throwing back beers and snacking on pub food. The staff was inviting, friendly, with big smiles and a strong midwest nice energy. I tried their St. Peters Porter and Scotch Eggs, the porter was a perfect blend of somewhat sweet, but not too sweet, and bitter with a chocolate aroma, truly well crafted, the scotch eggs were well seasoned and perfectly balanced on the cook, the pork was nice a warm but not burnt, breading crispy and not too hard, and the eggs whites soft and chewy with a nice creamy center, it's surprising how few can make great scotch eggs and Third Wheel Brewing nails it.
Bingo on Thursday, good beer and good window food.
Excellent service and wonderful food.
Came in with a friend on a Friday afternoon about 5:00. Staff did not acknowledge our presence when we sat down at the bar. Finally, I asked a lady refilling her soda who we needed to see to order beers. She removed her earbud and asked a coworker to take our order and said she worked in the kitchen. A few minutes later a gentleman came to take our order. Beer was good but service unremarkable. Enter a young man named Cash, eager to talk about beers, what people liked, what he liked, and totally changed the atmosphere. Food good but that young man Cash, and his customer service skills will make me come back. Beer is very tasty and offers many options.
Talk about some ladies who know how to brew! The Sandman is delicious and their Czech style pilsner, Clutch it, hits all the right notes. The food is really good too. Great burgers and delicious waffle fries.
Don’t order the Margarita. 90% ice a not worth the money.
If you liked can chicken… this is your place… probably the worst wrap I have ever had
Beers are great. Food was underwhelming. Ordered the Ron Swanson burger; English muffin was soggy and bacon under cooked. Friend ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap; chicken tasted exactly like it came from a can preshredded. However side of Chipotle ranch was delicious despite it costing 75 cents.
We love this place! The staff is friendly and the food is great. There are many options for seating to accommodate a party of two or a large group with a private room. There are many options for beer and seltzers. We will be back!
Tried this place for the first time for lunch today. Staff seemed annoyed to serve us. We had no idea how anything worked and were offered no direction or even a greeting when we walked in. I could’ve spackled a hole in the wall with my beer cheese soup. We left hungry and out $30. No wonder the place was empty at lunchtime. The whole experience felt strange.
Restaurantji Recommends
Puppy yoga day, so fun! Also great beer, slow-clap a creamy sour on tap atm, highly recommend.
Great place good food good atmosphere great service
i want to visit and leave a better review but theres no phone number to call and ask about stuff so 3 stars for now.
I can't say enough nice things about this place. Mellow vibes with no blasting music. Friendly staff. Incredible menu of unique and fun flavors. I don't even drink and I'll be coming back just for the food. What an absolute gem this place is.
Good food and friendly staff.
