The açaí bowl is frozen not blended so you can’t stick a spoon in and eat it right away. So stupid and disappointing, a waste of 11 dollars I would not have ordered this had I known that no one wants that

This cafe lacks honesty, integrity and credibility!!!Five days (Oct. 9, 2023) ago, I dined at the 318A Mid Rivers Mall Drive location in St. Peters, MO and the manager handed me a coupon. After leaving, I began to read the coupon for a 99 cents, 24 oz Smoothie with the purchase of any wrap, sandwich, flatbread or bowl.It states: Valid only in-cafe at 9948 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO…Expires 5/15/23.Words have meaning and value.Three days ago, Oct. 11, 2023), I returned to the Mid Rivers Mall Drive location, and brought this to the attention of an employee working up front. I asked her if she was aware that they were handing out expired coupons. She stated that she did not know. Then I asked to speak with a manager. The young lady who approached me brought back my invalid coupon and said, “They are good here. We have to use up these coupons first.” As if to say, they did not wish to PRINT more and spend the money to properly inform their ‘valuable’ customers. If I were a customer, I would certainly NOT return for business with an expired coupon at a store so far away from my community.Does this make sense to anyone? This type of mentality adds to what is wrong with society today. I explained to the manager that it does not make any sense and is not a good way to run a business. If I ran my business like this, I would be OUT OF BUSINESS. Not only does it lack professionalism, but it also lacks honesty, integrity and credibility.Tropical Smoothie Cafe has lost me, my family and friends as customers.

I wish I could upload pics. But this is exactly why I stopped coming to this location!! Every single time I order food it’s not made right I got a chicken and cheese quesadilla and there was literally 3 pieces of chicken. 3 pieces of the quesadilla were completely flat not even cheese in it. This is not the first time this has been happen for 2 years I’m over it. You need new staff. I never write reviews but I will never be coming to this location again.

I love going to this Tropical Cafe. The staff is always friendly and my order is always correct. Such a chill atmosphere and easy to place and pickup orders.

We came here to get my husbands birthday smoothie. Extremely rude service. We worked with Dominique We had the free birthday smoothie. I showed the cashier the email. She told us that it should pull up a QR code. I showed her several times that it was not. So she had us download the app. I asked her several times to look it up by the email and phone number when she finally did said there was nothing there. Dominique was consistently on her phone texting. After fifteen minutes finally got the app downloaded the qr code was not there just a tab that said a free 24 oz birthday smoothie. Dominique said "we'll I don't know when I get emails I get a QR code." I showed her again several times there wasn't one. Dominique rolled her eyes then proceeded to make the smoothie.

I don't do sugar, so I always get the Green Island detox. It takes a few sips to get used to, but once my pallet adapts, it's really good. I think it's just the initial "zing." Got the Veggie Hummus wrap without tomato, and it was very good. My friend and I have breakfast here before going for a walk. Love it.
