The prices are FABULOUS! The service is INCREDIBLE! The food was made to order, HOT! My cheeseburger had a YUMMY, crispy little snap crunch/grilled taste. Same for my friend’s patty melt. We always thought this was the “flash cafe.” I’ve lived in the area for a decade and never tried. My beautiful sista friend moved down from PA three years ago. We’ve been going on adventures since. Trying new places together! This is one of our burger faves. Again, service was FANTABULOUS! The only drawback for me was the water was terrible. Being in Ste Gen, the water there is bad in every establishment I’ve been to. Bottled water is best for the restaurants, in my humble opinion. Go check them out. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. We also got the extra side for $2.75. I got the cup of soup. It SEEMED to be doctored up canned soup or just really bland. Good but, bland. My friend’s salad? That was a joke. It was wilted lettuce DROWNED in the dressing. YUCK! Other than those small things, this is a good place to try. We’ll likely go back, now and then.

Best find in a while. This jewel of Ste Genevieve is a don't miss. Recommended to all if you want a great home cooked meal at an affordable price. The waitress (Rhonda) was working her lil heart out, zipping back and forth to ensure everyone was taken care of. The Tuesday special was fried chicken, so my wife ordered that, and I had the Genevieve Club. The prices were awe-inspiring. $6.95 for 2 pc chicken, potatoes, gravy, green beans, salad, & a roll. The club was $7.95 (sandwich & fries). The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were good-sized. Sooo glad we picked this place to eat at.

Great little local place owned by two sisters. There are only about a dozen tables total in the place. Service was prompt and friendly. We both had the fried chicken, which was great. It was a lot of food for a good price. Definitely get dessert. I had the French silk pie, and it was probably the best I have ever tried. My wife did the lemon meringue and it was excellent as well. With tip, a dinner for two was less than $50

Mashed potatoes incident and the worst.I've ever had.The meat loaf wasn't very good at all. Green Beans straight out of the candle sea.Nothing but Iceberg lettuce. Deliver an onions.I made a lot of places.This was the waitress, great atmosphere.Fine the food just wasn't all that I would not recommend it

Home style (mid west) cooking. Not bland but not spicy. Very reasonable prices. Nice quiet place suitable for family dining. Very pleasant waitresses.
Parking: You can park within several feet of the front door. First floor parking and first floor restaurant.
