The prices are FABULOUS! The service is INCREDIBLE! The food was made to order, HOT! My cheeseburger had a YUMMY, crispy little snap crunch/grilled taste. Same for my friend’s patty melt. We always thought this was the “flash cafe.” I’ve lived in the area for a decade and never tried. My beautiful sista friend moved down from PA three years ago. We’ve been going on adventures since. Best find in a while. This jewel of Ste Genevieve is a don't miss. Recommended to all if you want a great home cooked meal at an affordable price. The waitress (Rhonda) was working her lil heart out, zipping back and forth to ensure everyone was taken care of. The Tuesday special was fried chicken, so my wife ordered that, and I had the Genevieve Club. The prices were awe-inspiring. $6.95 for 2 pc chicken, potatoes, gravy, green beans, salad, & a roll. The club was $7.95...
Great little local place owned by two sisters. There are only about a dozen tables total in the place. Service was prompt and friendly. We both had the fried chicken, which was great. It was a lot of food for a good price. Definitely get dessert. I had the French silk pie, and it was probably the best I have ever tried. My wife did the lemon meringue and it was excellent as well. With tip, a dinner for two was less than $50
