I was pleasantly surprised to find a great Mexican food restaurant in a small town. I am from Texas and so my Mexican food taste buds are very well developed. They have a large menu excellent choices of margaritas and the staff is super friendly and service is impeccable. This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am visiting St Genevieve.
Met my in laws from our of town there to eat and visit. Showed up at about 645 ordered two teas and two margaritas. Our drinks came right out with food to follow. Our waiter,younger male blonde hair, came back to ask if we were ok. Then came back a few min later and asked if we need to go containers which we didn't because we were still eating, but did not ask if we wanted refills. 3 drinks were empty, then he came back AGAIN and which I asked for a tea refill, he asked if...
Food was very tasty. The salsa was fresh as well as the chips.
The cheese dip was ok. But not hot, only Luke warm. I prefer my cheese to hot not warm
I chose the Chile rancheros. Two pablano peppers lightly stuffed with cheese was cooked very well. The rice was your standard Mexican rice.
