Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

First the hostess told us it would be a 15 min wait bc they were waiting for a table of people to leave…..they finally left after 20 min. Then they seated us at a completely different table that was smaller. When I asked why we waited for a table that was open “she stated that the waitress was overworked and couldn’t seat anyone else”. In the mean time while we waited our 20min they seated 3 other families. Food was mediocre at best, server complaining about having to take the online orders, hostess was walking around eating food and the manager was eating and pulled her id card out of her bra for the other employees. Waitress never came back for any refills and I had to stop her to ask for our check.
Overall this establishment was very disappointing and I’ve been eating at CB all my life. Probably will never go back.

I placed an order online. My pickup time was at 5:53 pm, my food came out at 6:15, the server told me that “oh by the way we are out of biscuits but they could get me some cone bread” I told her no thanks I didn’t have any more time to spend on this meal.
When I got home the order was not what I ordered and everything was cold and inedible, I live 5 minutes away.

We drove from the airport to the Sullivan restaurant because we’ve eaten there before. This time was a disaster, they were out of so many items I finally asked the waitress what they did have to serve. Her response was she didn’t know. We were fed a few minutes apart missing two items. The meatloaf was cold loaded baked potato was missing. We also had chicken strips, breaded and the okra was missing and on top of that the breaded chicken strips were out. I complained to the manager on duty and she told me I was out of line. They didn’t do anything wrong. I paid my bill for everything even the items we didn’t receive. I’ll never forget that day when we were sorely mistreated by Cracker Barrel in Sullivan Mo… we will never go back to any Cracker Barrel

The food is okay at best, if you like frozen vegetables.

Stopped in for breakfast in Sullivan Missouri place wasn't extremely busy, got seated quickly and waitress was there to get our drink and food order. Things didn't go well after that. Took quite a while to get our food the waitress came to the table twice and said let me check on your food. When she finally brought our food it was cold and only received part of our order. Tried to get her attention to let her know about the food and that we would like more coffee but we weren't able to find her. Worst experience I've ever had at any cracker barrel. We stop at this one several times a year while passing through. Always a great experience hopefully this was just an off day for them .

Ordered the steak and shrimp and asked for medium well. The steak was a very poor quality of meat, hard, really disappointing. The girl that brought it curbside was really sweet but that’s basically the good part. My husband did enjoy his country fried chicken. So I probably will never order steak again.

Cracker Barrel is a good place to enjoy a meal. we had good service with properly prepared food. Thanks to all those involved.

6 PM on Sunday evening and not taking anymore names for seating?

The service was awesome and fast. The “store” well stocked. The meal was ok. I had the daily special about 6pm- the texture made me think of a dish that sat heated for a while.… dry & “chewy”..neither is what I expect from a chicken breast. The sides were very good.

It was the worst meal and waitress I've ever had in my life.

The order wast right first time at all and half of it was right second time. The waitress was rude .was very disappointed and Probaly never go back.

Food was ok, but not great. Took a LONG time to get food. Appears that some food items have changed recipes and quality. It ain’t what it used to be.
