The spare ribs are some of the best I’ve had. The brisket was INCREDIBLE! My friend and I went, after my son brought home his ribs and brisket. We dined in. There were several different sauces on each table. We tried them all. Weren’t fans of the honey mustard. The Tennessee sauce was super thin. I didn’t think I’d like it. Was I WRONG! It’s vinegary but, fabulous, even when paired with the BBQ sauces. The Mac and cheese was mushy, for me. My friend got the broccoli salad with bacon in it. She said it was delicious. I’ll definitely try that next time. You really need to pay this place a visit when you’re in Sullivan, heading west for an adventure, or coming back from one.

It was a great experience. I drove by it so often from Springfield to St. Louis and I made the great decision of stopping snd getting the brisket and pork. They were extremely nice and the restaurant was very clean. Some great bbq on a trip back home and I'll make sure to stop by more often on that trip now.

The smoked ribs and pulled pork are amazing! So tender and full of flavor. My husband and I filled up on those. My mom said the mac and cheese was delicious too. We were visiting the area from KC and family suggested we eat here before leaving town. Glad we made the stop! We will be back!

This is my go to bbq place and it is local. The smoked meats are tasteful and tender and the smoked sides(baked beans & mac n' cheese) are delicious.
Traveling through the area with friends and googled BBQ. MK’s had good reviews so we chose MK’s for lunch. Very casual experience ordering through a line process and served in to-go style boxes, can sodas and bottled drinks. Pulled pork was good, Mac n Cheese was really good and our friend liked the brisket so much he bought a second helping ? potato salad was too runny but other than that everything was great. Great selection of various BBQs sauces on the table - was cool trying different ones. Liked one so much we bought a bottle to take with us.

Driving from St. Louis to Springfield and stopped at this gem. Great service, great food! If you get a chance, try the creme brulee ?? We had the brisket, pulled pork & pork ribs & smoked turkey breast ? and everything was delicious! Will definitely drop in again.
