Awesome Place! The owner Ed served up amazing back ribs, pulled pork and grilled sausages. We were visiting the caves nearby and had planned a stop for lunch, but they were not officially open because they were hosting a BBQ contest. Ed opened up for us and set us up with a feast.

Food was really good. Owners even helped pull my car out of the snow. I recommend the pork steak whenever its on the menu, loaded baked potato, or the ribs. Smoked Mac and cheese was good also. And the slaw 🔥
Me and my husband decided to stop in on our way home to Illinois and the food was amazing smoked baby back ribs and Mac and cheese best we have had by far

MK BBQ is the real deal! Chat up the owner and you’ll get a lesson in the art of smoke. I’ve had nearly everything on the menu besides the brisket because every time I’m in the area it’s sold out!
Perfect place to grab a bite before or after floating the rivers in the area and easy access right off the highway a few blocks in the downtown business district.
I’m from St. Louis and we have a lot of BBQ. This place is up there with the best!
A must stop if you’re passionate about BBQ!

I stopped with my family on the way to Branson and we loved the BBQ. We had the Loaded Baked Potato w/ Pulled Chicken, Pulled Chicken Nachos, Pulled Pork and portions were generous with big flavors in every bite. There's a touching story around this restaurant and the family takes a lot of pride in what they serve. We'll definitely stop here again

I prefer a different style of bbq. Beans were unusual but ok. Potato salad had celery. I hate celery. You might like it but I won't be going back.

Out of towners, coming through and anytime we head south we find BBQ, this was a great find. We had some of their ribs, pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was the hands down favorite with amazing flavor and texture. They offer a selection a locally made BBQ sauce which we went looking fir a site to order some from home.
