We cannot thank Muddy Banks Brewery enough for the kindness and care they showed our family during an incredibly difficult time. They graciously accommodated a funeral gathering of about 45 people and made the entire experience seamless and comforting.
The service was truly perfect—staff were attentive, patient, and incredibly accommodating, even as we needed additional tables and adjustments along the way. The food and drinks were spectacular, and everything was served efficiently and with care.
In a moment when small details mattered greatly, Muddy Banks went above and beyond. We are so grateful for their support and would highly recommend them—not just for the great atmosphere and exceptional food and drinks, but for the genuine compassion they show their guests.

Needed a casual outdoor experience with good beer and great burgers. Muddy Banks was the perfect fit! Beautiful patio that accommodated our leashed pet. Only an hour west of St. Louis. Get the onion ring appetizer.

Went there for lunch with my wife and while driving there found out it's owned by a Navy and Marine Veteran. All about supporting veteran owned places. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service was awesome. The person whom took our order was a Military Spouse. This whole place screams of HELLL YEAH it's an amazing family place. As a Navy combat veteran it made me very emotional feeling like my brothers and Sisters were taking care of this old Navy Chief. That it's family veteran owned and how amazing the service is, the family feel, the touch of Military everywhere. Damm I wanted to stay and just hang out kinda place. If your out close to here stop by this place is worth every detour and every traffic jam. Going back for more food soon. The burger and onion rings are to die for.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at Muddy Banks Brewery in Sullivan! They hosted our large group (about 35 people) for a family reunion-style gathering yesterday, and everything went incredibly smoothly. The space was clean, open, and welcoming — perfect for a big group like ours.
Special shoutout to Sheila, our server — she was phenomenal! Even with a group our size, she was fast, accurate, and kept a great attitude the entire time. Her friendly personality made a great day even better.
Thanks to the whole team at Muddy Banks for the hospitality — highly recommend for any event or just a casual hangout with good people and good brews!

I was expecting a regular pub burger so my expectations weren’t really high but was hopeful when I chose the Bacon Jam Burger. Then when it came out and I saw that it looked like a smash burger, not my favorite so figured I would eat half. However, your burger is truly the best burger I’ve ever eaten!!! I of course ate the whole thing AND all the delicious crispy fries - just the way I like them. I rarely write reviews but you guys are deserving of a great review. I say watch out Rich’s Famous Burgers because I believe you’re the best and you deserve to have that recognition. BTW, we were passing through on a road trip. Rich’s burgers popped up first but we chose you and so glad we did. Also love that you’re all from Sullivan and that you’re giving back to your community. I’ve already told several people about your restaurant. Can’t wait to pass through again!

Layover in Sullivan while traveling through MO. Wife and I enjoy experiencing different breweries when visiting new cities. Sampled a few different beers via a flight. All were really tasty. Food menu is pretty diverse. I ordered the shredded chicken sandwich. Excellent! Wife had the pulled pork, and found it somewhat dry, but flavorful. Overall aesthetic was very relaxing. Will definitely stop again when passing through.
