After trying some of the other local places on the water we got here. Glad we did. Service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed sitting by the water and all had different cocktails and eventually enjoyed some nachos. They also have outdoor seating and a beach area!

Good for lakeside eatery. Wide variety of menu options. Tacos and burritos were good, nothing special, but good. The pizza is good option. Huge drink menu. Relatively solid beer menu. Surprised there weren't more locals on tap, but a good can and bottle selection.staff was friendly and attentive. Inside and outside seating. Beach area. Live music and dance floor. If Sax on the Beach is playing definitely make your way over there. They alone are worth the visit.. ample boat parking and car parking. Really a nice place where you can get a solid lakeside meal

I don't usually post reviews but this was the second time that this happened to my wife and I at Captain Ron's we were there at the vintage boat show and decided to have something to eat when we went in to get a table we were told that there was over a 30 minute wait when I looked around and saw quite a few open tables the young woman told me that they didn't want to overwhelm the kitchen I think that was a reflection of poor management when they knew that it was going to be busy mind you this was the second time this happened to us. I don't think I'll be back and I liked going there as it is close to home and the food was away pretty good. Sorry Ron

Been coming here for a few years now and feel like it's sliding a bit. The menu is good and has a wide variety of options, but our group of 12 was pretty disappointed this time. We were in on a Thursday evening. They close at 8:00p and we arrived at 6:30p - plenty of time prior to close. You would have thought we showed up at 7:45p the way we were treated. The server acted like we were doing some kind of disservice coming in an hour and a half before close, when the place had a whopping 4 other tables full - at most. For the food, the grouper and the chicken bowl were find, but some of the fries were cold, one guy said it was the worst burger he's had in quite a while, and another was complaining about a quesadilla - pretty tough to screw that up. At any rate, we won't be coming back during our annual golf trip. Which is a shame as the location is good.

Great food and even better service. Out of all the places we visited while down at the lake for vacation, Malissa (with an A) was the best waitress we experienced! Despite being busy, always made frequent stops and with a smile. Will certainly be back because of her. The pulled pork nachos were quite tasty as well…

The grouper sandwich is fantastic!! Second year we've eaten there, quality and flavor were exactly the same. Highly recommend for sure!!

We were here over labor day weekend food was good but the service was disappointing. Our server never came back to check on us or refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything else.

Had the best time with Malissa as our waitress! Definitely made my bachelorette girls feel very welcome!!! Waitresses even took pictures with me! Definitely recommend coming here!!! Food was very good definitely recommend the sweet potato fries!!!

We had a great time. We watched some football outside on the porch while eating. The food was good, and our waitress, Malissa, was great! Thanks, Malissa!
