Captain Ron's has a great atmosphere. The food was great! We had appetizers and then had pulled pork nachos and Davy Jones nachos for our meal. We ate on the deck as a storm was rolling in and the staff quickly came out and pulled down the shades. We had a large group and the service was decent, just could have used a little more frequent attention to refills. However, the staff was definitely nice and friendly.
We settled on this restaurant because of it being on the beach. We are tourists, enjoying the holiday week. I know they mentioned it seemed to be a crazy night. We were on a 30 minute wait and it took 45 minutes to be seated. It wasn't busy, but they must have been short staffed. The pizza was good, but everything else was meh. I got the firecracker chicken- way too much sauce. I should have asked for it on the side. I asked if it came with peppers, I was told no, but there...
