Had the tenderloin sandwich & onion rings. Neither had any flavor. 3% c/c fee over published prices. Take cash. Prices were reasonable but food was average.

A fantastic local spot! We stayed at the nearby campground during the off-season and visited several times. We loved the good music, friendly interactions with Sam the bartender, and the delicious food—particularly the chicken fingers and fish bites. The outdoor area is wonderful, featuring a beach, TVs, occasional live entertainment, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and welcoming to both people and dogs. Highly recommend!

Cool bar on the lake. We sat outside because the weather was awesome, and they had a DJ out there playing music that night. It was nice to enjoy the water, watch the boats coming in and out, and have a few drinks. The drinks were good and the food was good. Service was pretty slow though. Overall it is a good place, and I imagine everyone has an off night once in a while, so I wouldn't judge the service fully based on one visit.

On 9/12/2025 my husband and I were having dinner at Papa Chubbys. We were there on our motorcycle as it is Bikefest weekend at the lake. My husband had a medical emergency as we were eating. There was not a person that was working there that did not jump in to help us. Our waitress was amazing. The girls that came from behind the bar to call 911, and help us, were amazing. The gentleman that brought candy and a cupcake to help get his blood sugar up, was amazing. The people sitting at the table next to us, I am not sure what I would have done without their help in that moment. They kept me calm, they helped me take care of him. Everything. This place, the staff, the people are absolutely top notch. We will be spending more time and money going forward at Papa Chubbys. Thank all of you for everything.

Service outside VERY slow! I sat with an empty beer for 30 min!!! Food was ok. Management needs to work on customer service. This place could be much better with proper management and servers that cared. Typical lake side bar…was hoping for more here.

Out of our 3 days at the lake and a different place each night for dinner, this place was a 10/10...we got cheese bites, and jalapeño mac n cheese bites, they were phenomenal...not greasy and the cheese was perfect...I got the smash burger and fries, also delicious, I'm a French fry snob lol these were the best fries, great taste and flaky, again all 3 things were 10/10
