My dad and I stopped in and we were friendly greated by the locals sitting at the bar. They showed genuine interest in us and we're happy to chat us up. We didn't eat but noticed several locals happily getting food. You want a friendly small town bar this is it.
BEST BURGERS OFF I-70! They have all the domestic beers and standard liquor you will need to accompany the fat, cooked-to-order burger that you definitely will be ordering when you sit at the bar while chatting with the great staff here. The bar is casual and fun and encourages friendly banter. It has a pool table and a juke box. I highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance.
We stopped in as we were staying overnight in Sweet Springs. What a great hangout! The cheeseburgers were the best I've had in years, the beer hit the spot - and the patrons and staff were so friendly! A great hangout for locals and travelers alike!
