Food is great and service was great. The atmosphere was like my grandparents restaurant in Jefferson City Mo. 60 years ago. Melissa is the best and the staff is the icing on the cake . Prices are reasonable.

While teaching my Grandsons the right way of life of if you want something work for it I'd appreciate and encourage the boys who was in my diner at 200 pm yesterday to return his Nintendo Switch back . I have your personal credit card Information and will be contacting your parents . Its sad he was back washing dishes working while you so freely took his belongings . Yes maybe he should have picked it up and put away but there stuff was all laying on table . Its sad the world we live in .

We pass through this area on our annual trip to KC. We NEVER miss an opportunity to eat here. Anyone who has a negative review about this place is apparently hard to please or just a pain to begin with. Country fried steak is what I usually get. It is AMAZING. The burgers are the best in the entire area, if not state, and the service is ALWAYS friendly and kind. It's a nice change from the chain restaurants and processed garbage you get at most places any more. The cook definately takes pride in her food!!! Can't wait to return in a couple weeks!!!

Ate breakfast this morning (30 May 2025). Saw the billboard on I-70. Absolutely wonderful food! The server was very attentive but not intrusive at all and veterans get a free drink with their meal! Awesome experience.

AMAZING highway stop. Home cooking at its best, friendly service, pleasant surroundings. Felt like we hit the mother-load in what we assumed was just a quick stop on a road trip. Awesome hometown diner. We stopped by traveling and had their breakfast and my grandson had their Philly sandwich and it was really good. Good portion for the price. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
