The chicken was very overcooked and the walleye was cool not hot. Bad place since family gave it up.
Should have complained but didn’t.

Better prep and cook staff needed.

I eat breakfast through out Southern Missouri and enjoyed my visit to Cookies! I rate 5 areas with a score of 10 being the best! I always order 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon, bread and coffee.

Compared to all other restaurants the food was awesome! The only complaint is the price of the meal, @ 35% higher than most restaurants for the same meal!

What a memorable dinner experience for my kids and I before the fourth of July fireworks. The food was INCREDIBLE. not only was this the first time my kids had catfish, but it was cooked to perfection and they absolutely loved it. My son wanted catfish Alfredo and the restaurant obliged. He got a heap of fettuccine Alfredo and he broke apart fried catfish and topped his Alfredo with it. He was in heaven. Not only was everything fried to perfection, but the deserts!! OMG THE DESSERTS! huge menu, first off. Wow. And each of us got something different, but they were ALL huge and heaping portions. I cant wait to go back!!

It's hard to get 5 stars, but Cookies comes very close! Good, fresh food. Homemade deserts. (Especially the carrot cake)

This is one of those hole in the wall gems. It’s not the most amazing food ever - which is why i gave 4 stars but it’s worth the stop if you’re in the area (especially considering there’s not many options) It’s down home country cooking. I enjoyed having dinner here and would definitely go back to try more things. They had a lot of yummy sounding pies as well. I had the blueberry which was mid but my mom’s peanut butter chocolate was delish!
