Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Town and Country

Frequent Diner at Coopers Hawk Chesterfield. We had a reservation for 6:45pm and were not seated until 7:15pm. I understand the complexities of operating a restaurant and depending on people to exit before seating new customers, but every time I asked where we were in line we were "next". I would prefer to have been told the truth rather than being placated. We were eventually seated and our server came by to take our drink order. Because our seating time was already delayed we went ahead and did our drink order and selected our dinner. Surprisingly we waited for simple water service for another 10 minutes and eventually our drinks and bread arrived. Our meals were served and the kitchen did not prepare our order correctly so one of us had to wait until the correct meal was delivered. Yes.. I made a snarky comment that the kitchen probably just reused the items that were on the plate but I was not expecting the server (who may have been in a bad mood) to shoot down my comment with an assurance that the food was completely fresh. Always surprises me when it takes so long for our meals to be presented, yet to correct their error only took a minute. I initially asked for an accommodation for the poor service but the bill arrived without any adjustments. Went up to the desk, they summoned the manager who adjusted our bill partially for the poor service and incorrect meal along with a bottle of wine. As mentioned earlier, I am a frequent diner at Coopers Hawk and the food and service is usually excellent. Sadly last night was an exception and expected acknowledgement from management that something was off. That would have gone a long way in my opinion.

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant for many years and love their menu. Yesterday was the first time I had a very bad experience there, where I went to celebrate my birthday. I never had to wait for a little over than one hour for my food which, despite the fact that I order my steak medium, came like a shoe sole, really really well done. Maybe that is why it took so long. While I had to wait, there were no updates from the waitress or anyone else from the staff. Manager came offering a discount to which I said no. I hope nobody else has to go through this. If you don't have enough staff or is not prepared for a busy Saturday night, not even bother opening then.

We love love Coopers Hawk. We (along with our friends) have been members for years and every month we go to Coopers Hawk and always have a wonderful experience. The service, food and ambience of the restaurant are superb. Always a great date night and night out with good friends and family,

Our dining experience at Cooper's Hawk was wonderful. The service was attentive, but unobtrusive, the food was excellent, and the value was acceptable.

We had Sarah as our waiter and she was amazing!! Food was great and our dinner experience was great as always!

This was a surprise dinner for the my lady's birthday. She absolutely loved it. I wanna give a special thanks to our outstanding waitress, Sarah T. She made this entire experience unforgettable. Food and wine were completely awesome.

Service this evening at Cooper's Hawk was among the worst we've ever received from any restaurant. Dishes were not cleared in a timely manner, drinks were not refreshed, it took more than an hour for our food to arrive. When the food did arrive, it was either cold or inedible because it was hard from sitting under a warmer for so long. The waitress was utterly ambivalent to our concerns. The manager made some attempt to rectify the situation but, frankly, by the time he engaged we were simply ready to leave as quickly as possible. We will not be back. It was a truly terrible experience.

It was a very busy night and pretty loud. Took longer to get food that usual, but still good. Prices seem to keep increasing.

Our waitress was very kind & patient having 2 chatty ladies. Our meal was very good. Always a good experience at Coopers Hawk!

I've never had a bad time at Cooper's Hawk. Great food and drinks! Wonderful service. The manager, Joe, is a great host.

Service was good, but unfortunately the food was inedible. The mahi mahi tasted like it was 2 weeks past its expiration date.

We sat outside because of the weather and it was beautiful. From the time we sat down until the time we ate was about an hour, which was a little long. It when the food came out, it was lukewarm, maybe cold. Because we had already waited an hour, we didn't say anything we were hungry. We had a reward that we wanted to use and when I got the bill, the reward wasn't on there. The waitress said she would just take the money off of the bill for my reward. I guess it was right. Nowhere on the bill showed I used the reward.

What a great experience for a date night! The food and the atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for!

We enjoy this restaurant for its ambiance. Meals are not huge and usually good. Wait staff held long conversations with diners she knew while we were madly trying to get her attention so we could order.

I've usually enjoyed dining at Cooper's Hawk. But our recent experience there was not as good we sat outside, which was nice and not as noisy. But my beef tenderloin was very chewy, and there was only two small pieces of broccolini with my dish. The waitress was rarely to be found. We won't be going back so soon.
