amazing atmosphere!
We had a great time at the mid American music festival. This was our first time at this venue. They had a photo booth area to take and upload silly photos. There was a few food trucks that had some good grub. There was plenty of beer and booze at multiple locations. Wrist bands where given out at the gate for 21 and older so as they didn't have to see an i.d. for every purchase. The bands where awesome. Overall we had a pretty good time.
Brought my Mom up to Jamesport for a weekend amongst the Amish (her idea for her 68th birthday)....and decided we needed wine by about 5PM. Destiny was AMAZING! Girl is worth her weight in gold. Thanks for a relaxing evening Black Silo Winery!
Will NEVER go back to this place ever again and HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This was the most unorganized event I have ever been to. None of the staff knew what was going on, all said, and knew different things. The upgrade for $ 80 was a complete joke. Was literally a 20FT long by 4ft wide cattle walk, with the fence facing the stage FIVE FT tall...with NO way out at end that tapered to a v, in case of emergency type of situation, which I'm sure wasn't safe. I was told by several people that Jenn Hottes, the owner was upset by the whole situation, because her husband is the ine that decided this and had it set up, but she did nothing about it. Also, the weather took an unfortunate toll on the first day/ night. Which, understandably, cannot be controlled. However, they chose to offer the people that purchased a single day only ticket to come to the second day for free. Which is great, but what about the people that paid for the two day tickets, they were offered NOTHING, or what about the people that were camping and were literally STUCK in the Mudd for hours on Sunday because of the 8 plus inches of rain that had fallen over the weekend. They were offered literally nothing. Not even a free meal, a free drink, absolutely nothing. I mean, selling a free sponsored mug from the bank for $80 and $4 refills I think tells it all, that they were just after the money. SadlyI will say one positive thing, the people were very nice, they just were not accommodating in any way for the inconvenience.Sorry Black Silo Winery, and Mid America Music Festival, this was a horrible event and I will never go back nor will I recommend in any way!Oh and we asked to upgrade, for just one show, and would pay for whatever, but the lady said they were all sold out, but, look at the video of the so called " sold out" section.... EMPTY!!! Also attached video of the cattle walk $80 pit uograde...
My personal recommendation: Second lane Moscato was amazing! and there is also a apricot moscato was really refreshing and frutie.. I'm Moscato fan! and I loved it, loved it, loved it!I loved to be able to walk on the vynards and Brittany service was great!

Called with a concern about recurring charges on my bank statement after purchase of festival tickets. Manager refused to talk to me or my husband. Check your bank statements.
