My husband parked his truck in the back lot. It's never been an issue until now. I see semis park in that lot frequently. He is a paying customer. I don't see the issue.

I'm giving McDonald's a low rating because the 24-hour restaurants have a policy of not allowing non-motor vehicles to use to drive through. Theoretically, this is because the drive-thru is dangerous to people on bicycles, motorcycles, and walk-ups. It seems to me that what the drive-thru is dangerous to is pedestrians because of cars turning in and out of their parking lot or crossing the sidewalks. Also hitting the pedestrians who were already in the parking lot crossing to the cars that they've left parked at McDonald's. McDonald's is also at a problem of persons if you've dropped money from car doors backing up and crushing themselves using their own vehicles and has also been known to be a place where a drive by shooter can attack someone in line and they are unable to flee the line of drive-thru cars. So it seems that the drive-thru Lane is dangerous to everyone, not simply to death, reins and cyclists. Perhaps I should close all of the drive-throughs and fast food restaurants because they are so dangerous to everyone who uses them. With McDonald's operating. Under this policy, there are many communities where McDonald's might be the only 24-hour restaurant in the city as is the case here in Iowa City.. The price of using this 24-hour service when all other places are closed is being able to afford a car. That seems discriminatory to me and McDonald's should offer an accommodation. This could even be an ADA issue because McDonald's is not accommodating persons who, for whatever reason physically may not be able to operate a car and don't have anyone to operate one for them.

FOOD POISONING.
I had never had a McRib before, so I figured "what the heck, lets go for it". Well, it is currently 2am and I am stuck in the bathroom and (without going into too many details) its BAD. If I could give negative stars for this experience, I would.
We had a long wait for our food, the fries were cold and soggy, and may I say again, FOOD POISONING. Boo.

We just stopped by to place an order at the drive through, when a suv drove past us and the ordering board straight to the window and the guy working the window totally ignored us us without answering the ordering board. We drove around and he was personally taking her order but wouldn’t answer us when we pulled up. We drove off without ever getting to order any food or drink. McDonalds you need to hire people that are responsible and care about taking care of your customers.

They ask you to pull around every time you get something even when nobody is around to wait. Cheating a system that was put in place for a reason
