I had to pay to take a photo

Terrible experience. Stopped and parked in the area marked “customer parking”.. Sign at tee pee said open, door was locked. We took a quick photo and got back in our car. Angry guy “greeted” us (more like confronted us).

He said he was open but it would cost $2 each to come in, but that he would take that off a purchase. We said thanks but no thanks. He started yelling at us, asked who we think pays for the gravel we were parked on (it said customer parking!). We felt very threatened, rolled up our windows and started driving off. He ran after us screaming, flipped us the bird.

Avoid this dangerous place!

The high reviews have to be high as hell

DO NOT I Repeat DO NOT stop at this place owners are very evil and rude. We are from out of town and wanting to take some pictures. We stop and the lady came out and met us. She said it was two dollars entry fee for the gift shop. But at this point she became very aggressive and started yelling. So much anger in her eyes, we got in our car. At that point The gentleman started recording us leaving his property As we got to the end of the property, he gave us the loser sign with his fingers up in the air. Did not stop at this establishment. There is nothing but evil in those people.

Wonderful experience, fine hand crafted tapestries.

The proprietors come out to welcome you and have a great sense of humor, don't worry they have an ATM inside. The only downside is the entrance is a bit tight for RVs but doable.

Do not stop here! Before I even gad a chance to do anything the man came over and said it was $2 to enter. When I said I needed to wait for my husband who was riding his bicycle, he started recording me and told me to get off his property. Thankfully I had not gotten out of my car. We have been stopping at Route 66 places since starting in CA and I have never seen this kind of behavior from a proprietor.

AVOID!!!
JOKE! these are the rudest owners/workers I've had to deal with. Same as reviews. They approach as soon as you pull in and demand you come in and pay. He angrily starred at us. We felt uncomfortable and as we pulled away he pointed gun finger gestures as if shooting at us. Very odd, very rude.

Great experience, bought a flute, wonderful people.

It took me a few years, and I finally had the right timing to arrive when they were open.
Small building, $2 cash donation per person but worth it getting to view their handcrafted items and speak with the proprietors. Plus, the donation goes towards your purchase should you decide to make one. I treated myself to a ring made by Navajo, a unique arrowhead and very tasty buffalo jerkey.
If you’re kind to the people, they’ll be kind back. I had a great experience ☺️

They had handcrafts as gifts to buy, also the jerky is tasty, don’t know why the comments are bad, the price is reasonable.

I’ve been going to this place for years. If you’re kind to the people, they’ll be kind back. I’ve never had a bad experience. They have hand crafted items for sale.
