I absolutely LOVED this restaurant and the owner. We tried the steamed buns, stuffed pies, spinach egg drop soup and dumplings (we got them fried). Everything was so fresh and delicious. The owner was incredibly kind and our food came out quickly. We will absolutely be back when we are in town.

Popped in to support the business because I'm somewhat familiar with the owner from his Game Depot store. After my wife and I ordered he was kind enough to give me a free soda while we waited. I got the meatballs and my wife got dumplings. Both were absolutely delicious and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the banana soda was and will happily get one next time.

I called ahead. The man that answered said it would be ready at 1. I waited 30 minutes once I got there. The tea where placing the order was so hot we could hardly stand to be in there and ended up waiting outside because it was so uncomfortable. The food all had a strange flavor and smelled like air freshener. The pies were tough and we each took one bite and didn’t finish them. The bao were supposed to all be different but we only got one kind. My son liked the dumplings but he was the only one who liked any of it.
This place is great and the server was very kind. We ordered the pork and Napa dumplings, the pork and chive bao (which were really big!) and tomato egg drop soup.The dumplings wrappers had great chew, the bao were light and fluffy and the tomato egg drop soup tasted like it just came out of the garden. Everything was hot and freshly cooked! We only wish we had more of the sauce, which I think was a mix of soy and black vinegar (would maybe have liked some some chili oil for spice, too). Regardless, we’re definitely going back when we pass through Union again. It’s too good to pass by.

He has it going on. Everything I've tried here is absolutely amazing if this is your type of food. We are so happy that we finally have one close to the house, all the buns, fried pies,dumplings, soups are amazing. Tonight we got the pork plate with rice and spinach soup ??, O my gosh the flavors of all his food is on point. I hope this business stays around for a long time. *Update* 08/03 I have to say this is my go-to every time I'm home yesterday I stopped by right before they opened and he took a huge order for me we're working in South Carolina and I was going to make the 14-hour drive back. I ordered three orders of steam buns and three orders of dumplings He hooked me up. The food has arrived safely in South Carolina and it's been very much enjoyed. Definitely give him a try.
