I wouldnt say this is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had but I also work at an elementary school where we have taco Tuesday sponsored by a french food supplier, so ya know how that is. Anyways I didnt have high hopes for this place, I just needed something edible on a road trip and this did fulfill that purpose,

What an absolute gem! Fantastic decorations and atmosphere for the small town of van buren. We really enjoyed passing through and getting to eat here! Food was good, everyone was friendly! Only thing id ask for them to change it maybe put a handicap wall bar in the bathroom stall since your floors in the restroom are extremely slippery and dangerous.

It’s 4pm on Sunday 6/15/25 and this place was absolutely filthy and it was so bad that when we got there we had to sit at a dirty table because there were no clean ones. The floor was covered in food everywhere and we were having to put out feet in it as there was so much there was no way not too. The server who was a ghost the first 10 minutes we were there then came to our table began to take our order and walked off to help someone else and never came back so we left. We left because we knew the service wasn’t gonna get any better. The place was GROSS 🤢. There was so much food every where between the tables and floor and it was the entire establishment. Not sure how they got any good reviews but I’m calling bs on them. We were there well long enough that someone should have offered to clean our table and get our drinks. Non of that happened. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I’m 40 years old and I have never in my life been to a “restaurant” that was this dirty.

The service was horrible and it wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. The flies both times we went were terrible. Another Set of customers were walking out because they were pissed about something when we left.

stopped for lunch on the motorcycles ....had the huevos and peppers ....very good and large portions

Great stop when in Van Buren, Mo. The food was tasty and the service excellent! They took great care of us and our dogs on the back deck

I don't know what sorcery they're doing in the kitchen but that fajita chimichanga was life changing. The portions were huge and the meat and vegetables were seasoned perfectly. My husband's tacos were just as phenomenal.

Tacos were awesome but the bathrooms were so clean and smelled great . Five stars!

I ordered fish and my husband ordered steak tacos. Eww the fish was not cooked, soggy and my husband's tacos were three days old. The meat was so hard and over seasoned to hide the old taste. Do not waste your money here. !! Wait to get Mexican food in Ellington.

Food was delicious as well as the house margarita. It took a long time for the food to come out. Server apologized several times but was not their fault. We were not in any hurry so that was a good thing. Again the food was delicious.
