Room didn't have comfortable chairs to sit in. The lighting was terrible. The bed was too soft for seniors with handicap needs. There was a cob web hanging above the bathroom door. You can hear the people upstairs walking around hollow floors. I had reservations for 2 nights. We only stayed 1 night left the next morning and returned home:(

We didn't get to float because the water levels were too elevated. With that being said, make sure you call ahead if you can because we traveled 3hrs to go. It happens and is beyond their control. It's a great day full of fun on the river. Pack lightly but have your necessities in a water proof bag (any sporting goods store will have them). Buy an extra float for your cooler and tie it to you. Sunscreen is a must, have a good time but don't get drunk... you gotta sober up before driving home!

Place is something wild. Didn't come for floating the river or anything. Just a weekend get away. Did not disappoint.

This is a BEAUTIFUL spot!! Quiet and calm. Decent restaurant on site (turns into a church on Sunday morning). The river is amazing- tons of room on the sandbar. We were lucky enough to catch live music on the sandbar TWICE.SUPER dive bar a short walk away. Car-bi's. Full of smoke and down home folks, cold beer and late night food options- MY MAMA WOULD HATE IT***, but I like it just fine!!
