I stop here a couple times a year on my way through Vandalia. I tried to stop here tonight at about 9:15 pm and was told they were closed when they're supposed to be open until 10. If it had been really close to that I would have understood, but this was 45 minutes before closing. Service gets three stars because I've never had a problem before, but tonight was one star service.

The Dairy Queen in Vandalia, MO is always a great place to eat. Their cheeseburgers, tenderloin sandwiches and the chicken strip basket are all delicious. The service is great and all of their workers are very friendly.

I got the single stack burger. It had onion rings, bbq sauce, ranch, cheese, and bacon 🥓. I will be returning. The service is always an A ➕️ and the restaurant is always spotless no matter what time of day or night that you go in! Fries are usually not fresh, which is the only downside.
Fired the only good cook... Now the food is ehhh at best

I got the bacon cheeseburger lunch special, I've gotten the same special at other Dairy Queen locations with no problems. The burger I received today had one piece of bacon and they had forgotten the patty.

Really disappointed to see that Vandalia DQ is not serving the infamous Patty Melts anymore for breakfast. This was a staple item on your menu that many locals loved and appreciated because we felt like it was special. Please either put it back on the blackmarket menu or add it to the real menu. Locals need this!#RIPPattyMelt🫶🏻
