I used them for my wedding in 2009 and loved it. I still recommend them to people.

Delicious food at very reasonable rates. We have used Spaunhorst Catering for numerous family weddings and community events. They never disappoint. The meal is great and their service is terrific.

Food was fantastic!!! Price was great!!! Rosemary was wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Good food at a great price.

Food was good, service was okay. I would not use this business again because they expected a tip after the service was provided (made several mentions that they usually get tips at the end of the night) which was not discussed. Also, they took the remainder of our food and left with it, even though we paid for it. Took cupcakes, without asking, and said that normally the bride and groom offer, then said they shouldn't have even taken them because they were box mix cake and not homemade.Overall, the customer service portion was extremely lacking when we called after the event with simple questions as to why the remaining food for which we paid was not left for us. The response from the daughter of the owner was "You can send your complaints to our email and my mother will get to them at her convenience. As far as we're concerned, that job is done and we've checked it off the list."Wouldn't be upset, but over 750 dollars worth of food that we paid for was taken and "pitched" instead of being left for us. If they'd left the food, there would have been no complaint whatsoever. They thought we were complaining about them taking the cupcakes, which was never the case. We just made mention of it to them and told them that we would have preferred that they asked. We would have given them a whole box.Completely frustrated with the way business was handled after the fact. It was like, they had their money (2250 dollars) so oh well. I've managed many businesses. There are contracts and policies/provisions that are placed in plain view or are able to be found during a contract signing or business agreement. They have none and told me that if I wanted a contract, I should have gone elsewhere. Like I said, the food was good, but the headache and treatment after the fact was far less than desirable.

Do not use this caterer! Horrible service to their clients. Poor attitudes and lots of excuses for their own lack of consideration towards their customers. As you can see by the review from Ashley below they have an excuse for everything! They have an excuse for why their employees stole cupcakes from the client, they'll call everyone at your wedding liars when they speak up about their terrible service, they have an excuse for why they trashed the clients leftovers even though a kitchen was paid for to refrigerate their food, hell...they even keep bringing up the fact that half of the clients out of state family couldn't make it to the wedding and they are sorry that their family didn't celebrate their special day with them. When people pay thousands of dollars for catering they expect great service, good communication for a well planned evening, a friendly and professional staff, good quality food, and consideration for their needs and wants for their special day. You will get none of this for your money with Spaunhorst. You'll get petty snide remarks, lies from staff stating her employees would never steal cupcakes but then saying her daughter brought one home for her husband. Then she'll leave snide remarks that they shouldnt have bothered since they were only cupcakes from store bought cake boxes. She'll even keep referring to a contract that she can't and won't provide. Even though she wasn't present at the event she'll deny every complaint made against her staff stating they'd never do that. She'll throw out the food you paid good money for by throwing it out instead of putting it in the refrigerator provided to them and then lie on public forums stating it's a health hazard because it could be out more than two hours when you add on time for your trip back home. (Not if you would have refrigerated it after everyone was served). She'll even attempt to belittle you on Fb when you don't rate her with as high of a rating as she would have liked or leave an honest review. You'll spend more time filing complaints with the BBB and the attorney general than you will eating their food at your wedding. Terrible service and terrible people to do business with, you'll get what you pay for...and according to her it's the cheapest you'll find. I couldn't agree with her more, buyer beware!!!
