Fantastic food and friendly service! The smoked pork chop was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with rich mac and cheese and applesauce on the side. My husband’s bacon cheeseburger was spot-on, complete with fresh toppings and delicious house-made pickles. We’ll definitely be back! (Heads-up: smoking is allowed inside.)

You never really go to a bar for food and have high expectations so this review wasn't one I was expecting to give but... The Hideout is an awesome hidden gem! As someone who doesn't smoke I've held off going to this place because I'm not a fan of smoke while eating. If someone was smoking inside, I wouldn't have known as they have 3 air filters inside plus a back patio. Walking inside, you got a nice small-town vibe. Both staff and customers greeting you. Before I get to the service and food, I have to give an honorable mention to their cups! I absolutely can not stand when a restaurant or bar for that matter gives you a tiny cup so that everytime you see your server you're asking for a refill, which would have been a lot because Michelle constantly checked in on us and was an all around Rockstar. Again, I wasn't expecting much, but man is this the spot to go to if you are wanting all around good bar food. They hand batter their pickle chips made from locally sourced pickles as well as their chicken strips. The burger was juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings and crispy bacon and FINALLY a place that doesn't serve under cooked tots. Definitely my new go to spot if I want good food with even better service.

I'm here from Ohio working and I've driven past this place too many times to count to get to my hotel. Since my job is weather dependent and got rained out today I figured I'd finally give it a try, and I wasn't disappointed. I got carryout but that made no difference. The catfish sandwich was spot on with some of the best fried mushrooms I've ever had. All in all, a highly recommendable place for a fairly reasonable price. Worth the visit to anyone looking for something off the beaten path.

Great food, excellent portions and the best deep-fried mushrooms I’ve ever had. The only reason for a four star on the atmosphere was that I’m not a smoker.

Just the kind of bar my boyfriend and I like to go to. The food was so good! Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and I ordered the dinner special, breaded fried pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. Yummy!

Great little "dive bar" with really good food and great people! Only took 1 star off because they do allow smoking, which is pretty well ventilated but still hits you when you walk in (and I'm a smoker). Also, sometimes the check is a little slow in coming. Otherwise, it's a neat little place!

Frozen hamburger patties not the "good bar" burger you would think! French dip was just a fatty piece of meat that I took home to my dog. French fries were from the freezer also! Breaded Mushrooms were ok, not worth coming back for! Sweet Tea was starting to taste sour. Maybe if you plan on coming here to drink, you might be able to eat the food!? Double cheeseburger,French Dip, order of Fries & breaded Mushrooms, Pepsi and Tea....$44 for 2 of us, 3 if you include my dog!
