we were passing through the area on the way west and decided to stop for dinner. The meal was very underwhelming. It took forever for our food to arrive even though the place was not busy our waitress was covering alot of tables, it seemed most of the restaurant. but she had a hard time keeping up with refills etc. The kitchen yells out the waitress name to come for food which didn't match the ambiance of the place. We were also privy to kitchen conversations of issues happening in the restaurant. That sweemed so unprofessional. my boyfriend had a rib eye and it was thin . the fries were hot, but soggy. not cooked long enough possibly. my wrap came out prepared incorrectly. they did make it again but I was starving and upset I had to wait even longer for my food. my bf paid extra for salad bar, which he said was good. and he added breadsticks, which were hard and dry. overall we were disappointed.

The food was awful!!! My husband and I had the portobello mushrooms which were good I do have to say. Our meal however was not. Chicken was dry, but did eat. Our mashed potatoes were so runny it looked like maybe they were leftover and added water to warm up and used to much water. They were instant potatoes with no flavor. The corn was canned and tasted like it was from the night before , didn't taste like fresh canned corn. I prefer frozen corn with seasoning. Suppose to get a roll but did not. Waited a while for our order to be taken. Needless to say we didn't take home anything, it wasnt worth it.

I highly recommend this hidden little jewel of a restaurant on the beaten path in Warrenton, MO. Everything about it is simply fantastic! The extensive menu, service, atmosphere, you name it! And the prices are extremely reasonable considering the amount of food you get.
To go boxes are always necessary. Even for the lunch specials!

I love the staff there. I went there with my best friend today(5-10-2025) I ordered the 12 oz. Ribeye. It was perfect medium well and it had the best sear of any steak I have ever had. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere is rustic and comfy. It was a great meal and environment.

My wrap was delicious but the Onion Things were not. They were very greasy and very hard to eat. I tried my hands, then a fork. Will not order again. Please serve regular onion rings. Thank you

Tried them many times over the years and it's always the same, great food when you finally get it.... but you will wait, even when your the only people there for some reason it takes them 30+ min to get your meals. It's hot and fresh and good but every other place I've been to can do the same fresh cooked food in about half the time.
me and my wife ate there tonight got the valintines special for 38$ each was supposed to be 2 shrimp skewers only got one asked about the mistake and they said it was a typo but for 38$ I expected more then 5 shirmp a paper thin over cooked steak and 3 burnt asparagus baked potato and salad was the best part waited 45 mins before we got our food should have looked at the menu because surf and turf was cheaper and the desert was just pudding in a cup was not worth 10$ extra was really not a special just a over priced peice of dog food that ended up costing over 100$ and for some dumb reason we left a tip we should have just left once we seen the steaks
