I finally made a stop at Social House 227 in Warrenton and it’s quickly become one of my favorite local spots for a casual dinner with great food and a lively atmosphere. Tucked right on Main Street, this place strikes a wonderful balance between neighborhood hangout and polished restaurant—perfect for weeknight meals, weekend dates, or grabbing a bite with friends.
Walking in, the vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The interior is modern and clean, and there’s outdoor patio seating that’s ideal when the weather’s nice—something you don’t see everywhere in smaller towns.
The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and kept our drinks full without being intrusive, which set the tone for a very pleasant evening.
The menu here is impressive in both variety and quality. I kicked things off with the Blackened Mango Shrimp Salad, a refreshing dish with vibrant flavors, then moved on to the All American Burger & Fries that was juicy and satisfying with perfectly crisp fries on the side. Social House 227 My partner’s Philly Cheese Steak was equally delicious—loaded with tender meat and melty cheese, exactly as it should be.
The full bar offers great cocktails and local beers, making it easy to pair your meal with something refreshing.
For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Toffee Butter Cake—rich, sweet, and a perfect end to the meal.
Service was attentive and friendly, and even on a busy night our food came out hot and well-timed. The relaxed yet upbeat atmosphere makes it a fun place to linger long after the last bite. If you’re in or around Warrenton and craving American comfort food with a creative twist, Social House 227 is absolutely worth a stop!

Decorated nicely, cute little place but the food was pretty bland. Shrimp appetizer and side of Brussel sprouts were so hot I couldn’t eat them. I think they had just been nuked in the microwave. Chicken parm was just bland

In the area, saw this had good reviews, gave it a shot. Ordered a burger, salad, dessert. When ordering, a time was given to pick things up, 5.15pm. Arrived at 5.13pm to find hot items cold, ice cream melted, and meal sitting out on a counter for 30 minutes. No reason given, no discussing as to why, no reimbursement offer, just a shitty meal and experience.
Not from the area, but can't recommend something this all around bad.
In response, yes I did talk to someone stating my discontent (no reason given, no reason to why, no reimbursement, etc.). Just a white bag tied with my cold/ warm meal. Not that busy that I could tell, maybe 5 people at the bar, didn't look at the tables. It's what it is, but no excuse imo.
