I leave this review not as a warning to customers but a warning to ownership. I have 2 thins to say:
1. I've been a chef for over 30 years and have been a restaurant owner.
2. I know from experience that any restaurant can have a bad night. In the restaurant business believe it or not the easiest thing to improve on is food quality, the hardest is to hire a good staff. With that said let's jump in!
1. I just moved to Warrenton. After a busy day of moving my wife and I were hungry. I have always supported the small guy, the restaurant business is a unforgivable endeavor.
2. I ordered a rack of ribs, baked beans and green beans with ham. All to go!
3. When I arrived home I was very anxious to open all I purchased.
4. When I opened the ribs I realized this was possibly a one off. The ribs were layered a half rack on another half rack. Not uncommon for the way Togo boxes are built. When I tried to separate the ribs all the meat fell off the bone, I know a lot of people think this is a good thing. It's not, ribs should stick to the bone and tear away. The smoke ring should be visible. I know that these ribs were probably cooked two days ago and consistently reheated. I was not looking forward to eating my ribs with a fork. Dry, alot of grisly piece's that tell me they were trying to fill the box.
5. The baked beans were obviously canned. The should take the ribs from the previous day and chop the meat and add to them. FYI, most bbq places will use canned beans and bump them up.
6. The green beans had no flavor, at the very least add some ham base to them.
7. However, the women taking my order, was very friendly and accommodating.
8. The way to judge a restaurant is how the perform on a slow day not busy. In fairness it was a Tuesday at 6 pm. I get it.
9. $44 including a tip for 2 people not expensive but not cheap.
10. I'm left with a box of bones and meat, not ribs. I have high expectations and I know any restaurant can have a bad day.

I will revisit later this week and hope things work out, give the little guy a chance!

Surprisingly, good! In fact, fantastic!! The ribs were moist, juicy, had a great crust, and practically fell off the bone by themselves. Delicious!! We shared a meal and added a couple sides, making it economical. The place looks like a little broken down shack, but the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

The best pork steaks and ribs I’ve ever had in my life. Portions are huge, and they have several sauces to choose from.

Had a quick grab and go passing thru bite. I liked the pulled pork and the size was generous. The smoked mac n cheese was a little disappointing.
My plans are to try the brisket and maybe the rib tips.
I'll update this review accordingly. Looking forward to the brisket.
I do recommend.

The BBQ sauce needs improvement. The pork sandwiches were extremely dry and chewy, and my partner's ribs were as tough as boot leather.

The food was pretty good, but I won't be returning.
The lady taking orders was sweet, but the little potbellied man with gray hair tried to throw me under the bus for them accumulating a line.
He asked me to call ahead for "orders this big."
That was about 80.00 plus tax (see the feast in the pic, lol).
I just told him I won't bother coming back (we rarely buy for less than 4 people).

Broccoli Salad and Baked Beans were really good.
Green Beans tasted straight from the can.
Turkey, Ham, Cornbread Casserole, and Mac and Cheese were ok.

Spent $50 for 2 brisket sandwich and it was mostly fat ..got the macaroni and cheese, It was noodles with no cheese ..very disappointed. Could not even take a bite of the sandwich because of it being 90% fat :(Was really excited to have BBQ, sucked because I had nothing at home either.. hahaLady was nice and brought it out to the door for me when it was ready.
