we went we had horrible service, they were out of regular fries and tater tots, so I asked for the loaded mashed potatoes or whatever they're called, even said I would pay the up charge and was told that was not allowed. 1st time I've ever been told at a restaurant I would pay more for something and told I couldn't have it. The place was not busy at all yet the place was very dirty, all the tables dirty and floor looked liked it hadn't been swept in days. The owner was present at the time but she didn't seem like she was even able to sit straight on her chair to even help

I decided to revisit the restaurant recently and I had to delete my old review that was not favorable. The food was great and our server was awesome! We had the tenderloin dinner and it did not disappoint. we will definitely be back.

me and my husband stopped for lunch a drink. the owner behind the jar was lovely, kind and welcoming. we are from out of town, and only frequent this part of the lake once a year, but will make this a must stop! the country fried ribeye was to die for

To the rude blond woman who refused to let me and my well behaved service dog sit at your empty bar this Wednesday. You should be ashamed of yourself. Under the ADA definition. My dog is absolutely a service dog. I’ve reported you to the proper authorities.

Overpriced awful food. The mashed potatoes and gravy both were terribly bland, I think the cook forgot the salt and butter. My chicken fried chicken was just a breaded chicken breast, again lacking any identifiable flavor. Waitstaff is inattentive, lacking personality, and incredibly slow. I definitely will not be dining here again.

Food took almost a hour to get...its fathers day and busy..we were ok with that.
We ordered the large catfish dinner(grilled) the lady next to us ordered the same, only she ordered breaded fish ( the only difference )
This meal was 18.00....her fish was the length of the plate, looked delicious....ours...well, it was the size of a crappie fillet...6 bites and gone....for 18.00..
Drinks were terrible ( long island) server was great and trashed it, made another one with coke, not sprite...it was better, but was still off on flavor...
No burgers available were sold out.
Steamed veggies was a cucumber sliced and steamed...terrible also
I felt sorry for bartender...food took way to long, (45 min or more) then the 3 people beside us ordered 3 meals...only recieved one...(45 min later) and was still waiting for the rest.
Disappointed..
This place is normally good...but they missed thier mark today.

This place is great! It’s nice to sit outside and you can see the water and boats go by. The food has been delicious each time we’ve been there. The atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. I highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop by and give it a try!

Not digging it since reopening. Prices have sky rocketed. 15 to 30 dollars per meal. A well-done burger doesn't mean charcoal like a brick and burnt. Tenderloin is smaller than it used to be.

Sad to say the food is sub par, not like it use to be. Ordered the open faced roast beef. Roast beef tastes like it was processed beef, came from a package from the grocery store. Not fresh cooked roast beef. And the portions shrunk. Small scoop of potatoes and brown gravy which probably came from a jar. I get trying to keep prices down by buying cheap food but I didn’t travel almost 2 hours for this. And it was still over $15 per person. We had 4 in our party. Sorry I won’t be going back.
