A charming deli with European specialties imported by the German Owner. Enjoy a "gasthaus" style lunch, with a tasty schnitzel or something lighter. Always fresh German beer ? if you are thirsty.

The restaurant itself gave off a pleasant small-town mom and pop vibe, with the decor giving off a somewhat rustic agrarian vibe express through a blue and woodgrain palette. The gentleman running the place prided himself on offering authentic German (not Americanized) food, but having never been to Germany, I have no way to confirm nor deny these claims.
The food was good, with the schnitzel cordon bleu I ordered being flavorful, cooked fresh, and nicely fried. Prices were on the high end of what I'd consider reasonable. The cook was also the server when we went (late lunch, I think), but was reasonably attentive and polite.
The only minor complaint I had was that the gentleman running the place was a bit quick to offer some of the fairly common political / conspiracy theories in this part of the world, which I'd prefer not to deal with over lunch.
Overall, comfortable recommending for the food and the rural mom and pop restaurant vibes.

Stopped in today with my wife. We explained that we were new to the area and exploring the shops. The gentleman was happy to explain that they have a small store area to purchase German seasonings, mustards, chocolate, and other non-perishable items. He also showed us the deli where we can buy suasages, meats and cheeses by the pound. And that they also have a restaurant. He was polite and willing to answer our many questions about all of their products.
We purchased three types of sliced meat, two kinds of cheeses (both amazing), a package of Landjaeger sausages, a pound of Bavarian leberwurst, and a bar of German chocolate (heaven). Next time we will leave the dogs at home instead of in the truck, so we will have time to dine in.
Take your kids/grandkids in to experience what a good hometown business can be.

I only get to stop in occasionally on my trips from Palm Springs to Illinois and it is a highlight on my trip that I look forward to .. takes me back to Germany and I look forward to it .. I am so glad I discovered Deli & Ursula's Schnitzelhaus .. my ancestors settled central Texas German towns .. and Ursula's brings back memories that I don't find in Texas anymore .. I love Ursula's ...

Food was great. Being German myself, this is the closest that a "German Establishment" fulfilled as it promised.Highly recommended

This place is very confusing. Not set up like a deli or a restaurant. Most places have a clear sign saying "seat yourselves" or "order when ready". The man who works here doesn't seem like he wants to work and will bad mouth other customers while also bad mouthing you. Gross food.Edit to respond to the business: I don't have to go to Europe to know that your food sucks (I could hear your male employee microwaving food) and the comments from the male worker were not professional to the people who came in who were confused if they should seat themselves or wait. He made snide remarks to me regarding the way I ordered my food which was just a Ruben sandwich with the saurkraut on the side. The meat was rubbery and smelly. Just disgusting. There is no mystery as to why your business was empty. Good luck with whatever you're doing because I will never recommend your business to anyone.

I got food poisoning after eating lunch despite the fact that I’m generally healthy and clean. Please stay away.

They were rude and disrespectful to my mother in front of my brother and I. I will not be stepping foot inside this establishment again. >:(
