⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stopped into El Centario in Waynesville after a long day, and it did not disappoint. The chicken and steak fajita nachos were loaded, flavorful, and easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, the staff was attentive, and everything came out fresh and hot.
Definitely the best sit-down Mexican restaurant around, highly recommend if you’re passing through or local to the area! 🌮🔥

I have never left a restaurant in more than a hurry, almost puked in the parking lot. Aside from feeling sick, the place was riddled with flies and the service was non-existent. To top it off, two days afterwards I got a notification from Capital1 confirming that I left a 45% tip --i did not leave any amount close to that, nor wrote any number that could closely resemble a 45.

Ordered a California burrito without chicken and lettuce. Received a burrito with chicken, beef, beans, rice, pico, a hint of guacamole, good but not what I ordered

I called in to do a pick up order and When I got there, the order was completely wrong. The person at the checkout wasn’t understanding the order when it was just one order of queso and one order of guacamole. Gentleman wearing the blue shirt was getting frustrated when it was just a simple order.

Mexican is our go-to when we are out of town at sporting events. This restaurant was below our expectations, we were shocked that it had somehow earned over 4 stars in Google reviews. The next evening we visited a better one the next town over. Our recommendation, skip this one, travel 10 minutes down the road.

Very good fajitas. Reasonable prices. Felt bad for the sole waiter with customers at 8 tables plus checking out the to-go orders. This meant waiting quite a while for our check after finishing our meal. Not his fault.

Very delicious, authentic food, and very friendly employees.
Got a Carnitas burrito to go. It was excellent but it was on the menu for sixteen dollars and some change plus tax put me over $18.00 for that burrito.....but man it was excellent!!! ??????

Authentic Mexican cuisine in Waynesville, MO!?! I came in with low expectations but was I wrong. My husband and I ordered the “El Mocajete” to share and it was delicious with some leftover! It came with steak, chicken, chorizo, nopal, shrimp, and cheese. We ordered an order corn tortillas 4 in a pack & loved our food so much ended up ordering another 4. Yes, we chose to overeat because it was delicious! And the regular piña coloda was just the right serving size.
