Friendly and efficient staff. Hot tasty breakfast at a very reasonable price.
Ever since new people took over the restaurant, quite some months ago, it has been horrible ever since. We have given it three tries. Well after three strikes, we all know the rules, you're out! I do write the food as disgusting. My server was just as sweet as she could be. They really need to do something about getting a new cook there before this restaurant folds. The people that I ran into that we know, they said well they only go there because it was close to home and that the food they agreed was really bad. We're going to help those people find somewhere else. You should be ashamed of putting that food out and calling it edible.
Tried eating here twice from the buffet.Both times place looked dirty and buffet food was dried out or cold.Also staff wasn't rotating food properly.When refilling,they were putting new food on top of the old.
The place was super busy as it was Father's Day. Nice buffet. Server was nice.

My favorite spot!
Ordered a meal to go....this is supposed to be a medium well steak and I couldn't barely get my knife through it. It was very hard and overcooked. The salad was ok but I believe that's probably the worst steak I've ever had. I would recommend making sure the individuals in the kitchen are familiar with the dishes they are cooking.
If you love smelling cigarette smoke while you eat this is the place. SMH
Went for breakfast buffet. All the food was cold. The pineapples were awful.

Raw chicken on the buffet mashed potatoes so old they have an inch of hard crust you cant cut through with a sharp heavy duty knife cold fish on the line warm foods that should be kept cold and cold items that should be warm salad greens looking like theyve been there for weeks. This IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE IN THE NAME OF FOOD SERVICE. WHO THE HELL ALLOWS A FOOD ESTABLISHMENT TO BE RAN INTO THE GROUND AND BECOME THIS DISGUSTING
Great home cooked style meals here! They also have a lunch and dinner buffet with excellent food and homemade desserts. I am from out of state but pass through Waynesville somewhat regularly. When I do, and it's anywhere near time to eat, I head here! Not many good homestyle places like this left in the world!
