Ordered a t burger/fries, bacon was forgotten but corrected no biggie. The burger was very dry like a thick smash burger. Good flavor. Great price and super friendly staff. Well worth a stop in.

The food was ok. It's a diner/cafe. Nothing really special, but also not bad. The waitress we had was pretty good. Friendly, attentive, and knew what she was doing. What really got me was the pricing. 2 adults and a 1 years old. We each got a meal, some baby pancakes, and a cinnamon roll. Somehow that was $46. Whatever. Then while we were eating in a SMOKE FREE diner, the kitchen staff sat right inside the door way staring at our table and smoking.

Honestly likely won't return

I wasn't able to try anything off their menu. No one acknowledged me or even attempted to take my order. They skipped me over and helped other people that came in after me. Not every table was full either.

Although it list hours until 3:00 it is deceiving. We arrived at 2:25 pm and was told we could only do a take out order as from 2;30-3:00 it was only take out. We had a long day and were excited to try the dine in experience. Not sure if we will go back, as our first impression was not a good one.

Wanted to like this place but absolutely did not. My fiancé and I like supporting local businesses, especially diners, this is not it.
We weren’t expecting fine dining service nor a 5⭐️ Michelin meal, it’s a tiny cafe in the middle of the Midwest. Our expectations were low and yet we still let disappointed and even worst still hungry.

Our food, two sandwiches with a side salad and fries, never came. People came, ordered, eat and got their bills while we sat there sipping our waters. It just never came while other customers, who seemed to be regulars (Since they were greeted by name and simply said “I’ll take my usual.”) got bumped up to priority.

When it came, it had been nearly an hour since we first sat down. We asked for to go boxes and made our way to the register. Only to be stuck in a line full of customers who came in after us. Who had been served and eaten their food and were ready to leave.

I’ve seen other reviews with folks having the very same experience so I don’t think this is a one off occurrence. We will not be back.

Very regular customer here, good service. It is a small place with a home town sprit, gets busy and service slow down a bit just like anywhere.
