I often enjoy stopping at Waffle House while running errands and have some time to spare. Their breakfast menu has always been my go-to, offering a variety of choices that hit the spot.

However, during my recent visit, I noticed a new decal on their menu stating that due to an egg supplier shortage, a $0.50 surcharge would be added per egg. This unexpected increase gave me pause—I even considered leaving—but I decided to stay and order this time. Despite this, the added surcharge has me rethinking future visits, as I may seek out other establishments instead.

It’s unfortunate, as I’ve always appreciated the convenience and comfort of dining at Waffle House. Hopefully, this issue with their supplier is resolved soon to restore the value I’ve come to expect.

Good service, friendly staff, clean restaurant.

Friend found a hair in their food about midway through their meal, but we were fixed up and made right by our server quickly and professionally.

This is the best Waffle House I have eaten at. I would give it 5 stars, but it is still a Waffle House. If you want simple food done extraordinarily, this is the place. I get about the same thing every time: all-star special (I think it's called that). It is two eggs, toast, grits or hash browns, meat and waffle. The eggs are usually very good but if a certain cook is there, they are perfect. Veteran Waffle House cooks have perfected eggs, which are hard to cook. The grits are better than you think while the hash browns are the signature item. Bacon, sausage and ham are the meat options, which is also how I rank them. The star of the show is the waffle. I believe the best option is pecan waffle with chocolate chips.

The staff is better than most places I frequent. Patrons are treated like family.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs, booster seats and extra chairs

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps and large bathroom

The steak was just not good, it tasted funny. The gravy was very thick and not really hot. It was just a huge disappointment. We put money in the juke and had to ask multiple times for it to be turned up so we could hear it.

This place absolutely smells disgusting! There is a mildewy, moldy, standing watery, rotten food smell or something rancid. Wow. Not even the smell of the food in front of my face or what's cooking is more powerful. Someone needs to clean under some cabinets, the bottom of some coolers, or just everything. I don't know if I'll come back because if that type of smell is coming from uncleanliness, that food safety is struggling too. You need to fix this before people get sick.

Ordered food online. Picked it up. Hasbrowbs were soggy, not even edible, breakfast sandwhich they put the pickles that go on the side of the sandwhich, right on top of the biscuit and wrapped it so all the Pickle juice soaked into the top of the sandwhich. I'm allergic to pickles so tossed the entire meal. The toast was so soggy it had to be tossed too. There is a way to package things so people picking up an order can actually receive edible food. I will not order for my family from here again. Oh and the best part is you can't call and speak to anyone as the phone number just plays a recording. So zero customer service. Basically wasted $30 bucks on a meal that the only thing that was edible was the kids waffles. .
