very very slow with the food, up to an hour sometimes, wait staff is rude, restaurant smells like cigarettes because there is a smoking section.

Food took 49 minutes to get to the table. Restaurant smells like smoke, they don't ever close the door between the smoking area and the non-smoking area. Seats are in disarray,
Wait staff is rude, and very slow, and makes excuses.
This used to be my go-to place, I would take my guys for work there once a week or so, it will be a very long time before I'm back.
They don't have nearly enough help, but I can see why because the owner is atrocious.
Weekend breakfast buffet is the only thing worth doing, and the last several times I've been there it was not stocked.
They need to tighten their game up, it could be a great place to go, but right now it's just pathetic.

Ordered a kids burger and fries, was informed cheese was .50 extra. That was ok with us. Ordered the slammer and asked for peppers and onions on the hashbrowns. Cheeseburger came back with no cheese, we noticed when cut it in half for the kiddo. The slammer came back with peppers and onions on the sandwiches instead of the hashbrowns. Sent both back. Cheeseburger came back cold, same bun we sent it back with (we knew bc we cut it in half) unmelted cheese. Slammer came back accurate but cold. She said she gave a 10$ discount. Ticket was wrong, was charged for incorrect items. She fixed it and removed discount. I asked for a correction and she told me it was right. I asked for a to go box and a to go cup. Got two to go boxes. Didn’t bother asking again for a cup. Left disgruntled after many opportunities for them to fix it.

Food was good, a bit slow on service but i sat down at 11:55am. Just had cheeseburger special with soup, both were good.
We had a new girl on our visit she did really well for her first few hours of being there. The food wasn't to bad. The atmosphere was pretty good for an older establishment. We will return.

I would like to start with the service because that was the best part. She was great. Total kudos to her. Sorry I do not get her name. Coffee was watered down and not great.Eggs were ok, Ordered over medium, received over easy. Sausage and ham was ordered well done, it was done but not well. Pancakes were ok, Nothing special. Hash browns were actually pretty good though.
