Service was not professional nor with a smile. Stephanie seemed very unhappy to be working or provide us with a pleasant experience.

My parents and I always enjoy having dinner at Big Sky. The food and drinks are amazing. The service is always wonderful. Unfortunately, we had dinner reservations for Saturday evening. The restaurant was packed which was expected. Our server was triple seated and overwhelmed. Now as a former hostess I felt completely bad for the server. Also we were seated next to a loud group of guests. So my parents and I had a hard time making conversations with each other.

The first time visiting this establishment was nice. It had a very inviting yet relaxing atmosphere. A great place to have easy conversation without a lot of background noise. The food was presented nicely, but sauce on my trout lacked flavor and was skimpy. I also noticed the lack of meat to starch ratio on a braised meat dish my guest ordered. I will return to try other dishes offered and only hope my first visit wasn't the norm.

Our experience at Big Sky this evening was FANTASTIC! Starting with calling for reservation, greeting upon entering, friendly atmosphere, great waiter, food was delicious, kale salad was perfect. The scallops were cooked perfect and the grouper was over the top! !!!! Wonderful waiter and the chefs were so friendly! No doubt we will be back soon. One of our favorites in Saint Louis. Great food, comfortable and informal service, lots of options for seating. We've enjoyed the front porch, the main dining room and the back patio. The latter is a favorite in the right time of the year. We have always had a great meal here, even on the odd occasion of showing up without a reservation and dining in the bar area . The take-out menu flexed up during COVID and remains solid. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dinner here. The meals were all very good. We also ordered a bottle of red wine which was perfect for our dinner. The Blackberry Lemon Crisp dessert was delicious and I would recommend that if you have room for dessert.

Big Sky Cafe is our favorite restaurant in all of St. Louis, and we've been going for fifteen years. It's the only fine dining restaurant in St. Louis where I can hear the soft strains of good 90s alternative (think Mazzy Star and Nick Cave), enjoy beautiful abstract art on the walls, a fantastic wine list, low ambient lighting that reminds me of my favorite places in NYC, all while eating delicious locally sourced organic food, served by people who remember our first names and our food allergies! Chef Dom is an artist. The menu has something for everyone. We love this place and take everyone here. I hope it's around forever!

Delicious. Home style feel but gourmet touch. Always changing menu also keeps it fresh.

My wife and I, along with old college friends, decided on Big Sky Cafe for monthly dinner night out. This was a great decision. our server was great. She was helpful in making entrée choices. My wife chose the pot roast, and I had the Char in a bed of Risotto. Both dishes were delicious. The char was light and flaky. I tasted the pot roast it was braised in a red wine sauce. The pot roast was tender, melt in your mouth flavourful. A positive note is that the pot roast is a staple, not to be changed out any time soon. We drank a Chardonay and a Cab from the Adam winery. Both wines were complimentary to our meals. You need to experience Big Sky you won't be disappointed.
