“Before their great beer could be found in cans at your local grocery store, there was the Civil Life Brewing Company tap room and restaurant. Great craft beer and perfect pub food & comfort food served in a German brew house style space. Fantastic outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Worth the trip to South City.“

“We just visited here for the first time to celebrate 3 family birthdays and I had to commend both John & Helena for serving up the best German food in the area. “Great outdoor patio, a lot of good beer selections, and love their pretzel appetizer. The only reason I knocked off a star is because when I went they didnt have many wine offerings, I know this is a beer garden but as a non beer lover it just would've been nice to have a few options, but will definitely be back!“
