Great music was playing the whole time as we ate blackened salmon, gumbo, and jambalaya!

I had the smothered catfish. From the moment I saw the picture on line I knew how it would smell and taste. They did not disappoint. Such a treat.
My wife had the pork tenderloins, enough for three appetites. I recommend the mashed or baked potato with them. Great treat straight from the fridge for a Day 2 lunch.

Excellent food - great atmosphere - quality entertainment. Julie does a fantastic job as a server. Always keeping an eye on us and ready with whatever we need. Jamie runs a fantastic bar. April is always on top of things and keeps the place humming. GREAT STAFF !!

I had a great experience at Highway 61 Roadhouse in Webster Groves last Saturday 11-1-2025. My server Julie was very accommodating with my orders as well as finding me a great seat. The bartender Jamie ( I believe is her name ) is always full of smiles and knows how to serve up a great Sazerac drink. What an experienced mixologist. What a treat this far from N' Orleans !

This is an awesome roadhouse known for its Blues and New Orleans vibe.
The food leans Cajun, but they have St Louis specialties like smoked pork steak, which is my personal favorite. Generally a good value.
Service is generally very good, I can't recall ever having a bad server there. Only gripe is that the beers are a bit expensive these days. Maybe they have some specials though.

Several items we ordered were more expensive then the menu had listed. I asked for an explanation. The server said the menu doesn't reflect recent price increases (neither does the online menu). The food was wonderful with good sized portions. The server was excellent. The management not so much. If we go back, I will ask what the actual prices are for the items we order and not rely on a menu. Management offered neither correction nor apology.

Dined for the first time and ordered the classics. So disappointed in both the food and service. We will not be back which is unfortunate because we were hoping for a neighborhood go-to.

Food was old .. can't even chew the wings..my friend ordered the chicken had to ask for a replacement because chicken was dried out ...will not be coming back ever.
I was nervous to try this place since I am not really a roadhouse kind of person, but this place surprised me! The serving portions are massive for the price, and the meat is so tender and good, especially the ribs. If you order anything though, get the cornbread souffle, you won't regret it! Also, yhey let me put the bbq sauce on the side instead of being mixed in, which was really kind of them to do.
Speaking of the service, the staff was really friendly and they accommodated for my needs, so I really appreciate that! If you don't like noise or live music, go on other days besides Friday and Saturday night (which is what I did).
This place has sucha nice atmosphere with friendly staff and great food for the cost, so I will definitely come here again!

We were served the day after a large event. The green beans, were PACKED with vinegar, and the soul of America, the BBQ meat, was not done justice. It could have been the toughest meat I have ever eaten. The ribs were almost not chewable.

When we ordered we got the shrimp app., the chicken, and 1/2 rack of ribs. The ribs were nice if you got pass the hard over cooked parts. The shrimp and the chicken were cold. We won't be going back. Oh and the food made 4 people sick with vomiting and dirreaha. Wouldn't recommend.
