We ate here tonight, & won't be back! Food was ok, except for the black hair we found in our queso! & the fact that we were charged higher prices than advertised on their menu or the waitress added something extra! Neither would surprise me. Our waitress was honestly horrible! We never saw her! We finally got desperate & had to grab one of the guys to refill our drinks, bring napkins & bring us extra flour tortillas for our fajitas. Our drinks, chips & salsa sat empty the whole time. They were not busy so there was no excuses for such poor service in my opinion! Much better food & customer service around than to settle for this!

We've eaten here before, but the 3 stars are for our most recent experience. We ordered food to go. Arroz con pollo, pico de gallo, and two burritos with queso on top. Not a ton of food. Total price? $53!! My wife had the arroz con pollo that she enjoyed. I had the burritos which were fine.
TL;DR VERY overpriced for what we ordered, despite the food being good quality.

The food was disgusting. The chile relleno was stuffed with something that stunk and was inedible. The chips were stale and tasted funny. I wound up throwing everything away. Won't ever make the mistake again. First and last time I tried this restaurant.

This is my favorite Mexican place. We started coming here in 2020 as a way to get out of the house. This is when we learned about BOGO margaritas on Wednesdays. We became regulars every Wednesday through Covid. I don't go as much, but we try and go at least once a week. I have my favorite table! El Agave is super clean and is a big supporter of law enforcement. My fav dish is the Arroz con Pollo, but I sub steak for chicken and add bacon and mushrooms. Also, the green salsa is fire.
