It seems Finding good restaurants is few and far between these days. I hadn't been here in years and it's still as awesome as ever. Great , friendly service and AMAZING food. Also very clean!
This is my favorite Mexican place. We started coming here in 2020 as a way to get out of the house. This is when we learned about BOGO margaritas on Wednesdays. We became regulars every Wednesday through Covid. I don't go as much, but we try and go at least once a week. I have my favorite table! El Agave is super clean and is a big supporter of law enforcement. My fav dish is the Arroz con Pollo, but I sub steak for chicken and add bacon and mushrooms. Also, the green salsa...
This place was one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever walked into and smelled great, I told this to my husband at least a couple of times, lol. We just had a draft beer and chips and salsa as we were just killing time. But the chips were warm and the salsa was fresh, very good. Service was good. They were slow during the time we were there, so the service people were multi-tasking, but we had everything we needed. Good experience.
