We called the manager chase after we placed our order and told him no salt we received the order and it was extra salt We received our food the food was soggy and the fries was salted and terrible the both sweet teas was soured rancid we called the manager back and told him all he said was he was sorry after this experience I may never eat and steak n shake terrible experience food was awful! And there was no tape or tamper seals on the drinks we threw everything away

Horrific.. 3/22 about 515 pm wife and I waited 15 min in drive through and were rewarded 4 hours later with food poisoning, violently vomiting on side of I-64. Worst I've ever experienced

Horrible service, horrible burger, it was dry, broken and had like 2 little parcels of onion. Don’t go here go to Freddy’s or anywhere else. $7 for this is robbery

Placed an order inside and went to get a drink and the soda was coming out extremely flat. Told the "manager" who was there that the soda was off and he pretty much said the carbonation element was broken and it was his first day and he didn't know anything else about it. As we sat and waited for our food, we watched multiple people come in from the drive thru and complain about their drinks as well as people inside. They never once told people that it was broken and just kept selling drinks like nothing was wrong. The manager told everyone the same story. I watched him walk around the whole time I was there and he looked completely clueless. How about, I don't know, put a sign up telling people the carbonation drinks weren't working? Tell the person taking orders to offer an alternative? Absolutely amazing that they just sat there and watched it happen. Will not be coming back.

Went into the drive thru while they where supposed to be open, sat there for 10 minutes, pulled around and tried to go in but doors where locked. Re-checked hours and said open until midnight, went back to drive thru while writing this and never got any service. Sad to say that while I love Steak ‘n Shake I can see why they are all closing down. Wont be attempting to order there anymore.

The food tasted like the cheapest dollar general chicken tenders they didn’t taste cooked they were hard to break apart they made me spit my food out and almost throw up terrible their tenders and fries and everything use to be so good I would go daily but now it taste terrible fridge food tasting don’t ever go here I’m never going here again

Went through the Drive thru today. Lady taking our order literally was annoyed that we were ordering. She rude and extremely difficult. Her job is taking orders.... Thank you Covid for ruining another good restaurant. Got home with order and OF COURSE it was wrong. Bun was falling apart, so it's old. Asked for just cheese and mayo, It had everything on it.

Apparently the store closes at 11 PM on Friday nights? Showed up to pick up a DoorDash order and they refused to make it at 11:10.

Showed up around 11:00 PM on Sunday and the place was a ghost town. Everything was showing as if it were opened, but it was 100% empty. Whoever the manager is here needs to update the times accordingly.
Steak' n Shake has fallen from grace and is no longer the same chain of restaurants it used to be pre COVID/2019. The restaurants' parking lots lay barren even at peak times of day, they can't keep in their employ any competent night staff causing late night orders to be akin to a joke and most locations close before midnight or before advertised. The automated kiosks in lieu of hiring new employees and the numerous locations remaining closed down is all more evidence that Freddy's came in and picked up the tab after the slow spiraling death of one of Missouri's great diners. I have given steak n Shake numerous new chances to return to their good standing but maybe it is simply better to forget than be consistently burned time and time again.

I literally just went through here and asked for a triple Western burger combo and a single combo with cheese fries. Not only did I not get the Western triple or the cheese fry, but when I called to discuss it with someone the phone rang for two minutes before hanging up. If you want a steakburger, save your time and go to freddy’s because this establishment SUCKS
Edit to add: Just discovered they gave my boyfriend an OPEN ketchup packet. How sanitary

refuses to update their current operating hours on apple maps when a manager can easily do so, when called to ask if they could update them some girl called "jessica" was super rude, kept calling me "mam" and when I ask who I could complain too about it she said her, when I asked who I could complain to about her attitude she said the owner, when I asked her for the owners number she said 1-800-Click-Biťćĥ
