Food was very good ,the only thing was the food came out right after we received our salads and then came the pretzels only after we requested them.
This was my first visit and we were thoroughly pleased with the food and service! We will definitely be returning. A+
Service wasn't great. Steaks were good though. Got our salads after we got our main meals.
We've searched high and low for a proper ribeye in Saint Charles County. I had high hopes for this place, but it was mediocre. The 14 ounce ribeye had a giant chewy tendon running through the middle of it. I've had enough ribeyes to know that there should be two components only: meat, and fat.
Great place!!
Service was even better!!!!

Our server Addie was really fantastic. The food took an hour. But was worth the wait. My steak was over cooked. But they replaced it with one that was perfectly cooked. I didn’t make a big deal about it. But they graciously gave us a free dessert and discounted our meal. Great atmosphere.

The service was amazing. The food was very high quality but was very bland, we used a lot of salt and pepper at our table. The prime rib was a beautiful special, but again lacked seasoning. The au jus was just fat water and the horseradish sauce tasted like sour cream. The ribeye had a great rosemary flavor, but again, some salt and pepper would have made the dish amazing. Get the sauce on the side if you get the crab cakes.
Upscale steak place. great food, the wings were fantaatic. The music was an interesting choice (mostly 2000s music) idk, not bad but kinda out of element with the 50+ crowd.

Last night was our first time dining and we had a wonderful experience. Emily was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable, timely and genuinely interested providing the best food and service. We witnessed both her and the general manager positively engage with other guests who appeared to be regulars. As someone who also works in the industry, I appreciate enjoying the same service and quality I would provide to my guests. We will absolutely return!

The food is great, prices reasonable ...HOWEVER, I feel like they sacrificed comfort for atmosphere. It is a neat looking place but both the booth and chairs are UNcomfortable. They certainly don't have to worry about people lingering!

The food was amazing, the waiter Katelyn(not sure about the spelling of the name) was even better.
Very friendly, knowledgeable of the food options.
Will go here again.

Service and food were amazing! We all wanted a good steak and all were perfectly prepared and seasoned! The fried green tomatoes were a table favorite and the sides were all very good! Our server was tremendous and was fast and efficient. The drinks, wine and food all came out fast, perfectly prepared and hot. The hostesses need a little training - they brought us to the area where the table was, dropped the menus on the table and then just left. Odd - so I went up front and asked if we could have a table rather than a booth and she said she had to ask. I took it upon myself to move to an adjacent table and moved them together so we didn't have a booth on both sides. The restaurant was empty at that time and the hostess acted surprised when she came back to reseat us and I had already done it. Our server was great about it all though. Another tip for a steakhouse is that when the NY Strip is played on the plate, put the fat cap on the side away from the guest.
Steak was "okay"... food was ordinary. Sat on patio which was lovely and waiter was very attentive.
I am not the type to write reviews, and even less frequently do I write 1 star reviews. We have been going to Stone Summit for years now, I believe since they’ve opened, and they were a personal favorite of ours- keyword “were”.
This establishment has gone completely downhill in the last few months in terms of quality. I’ve had some fantastic experiences, but most recently, especially on busier days, they have served some things that as a home cook I would be ashamed of.
First off, I understand hollandaise (a french mother sauce) is annoyingly technical, but also a core skill for any professional chef. When done incorrectly or stored improperly, it turns into wet scrambled eggs instead of a creamy sauce. Instead of doing what I would have (and done many times- throw out the sauce and redo), they did an insult to the $40 filet by just slopping it on there. Usually I wouldn’t complain about plating, but that just adds insult to injury here, along with the wet slop mashed potatoes.
My partner’s bearnaise (same mother sauce) was similarly split. If you can’t perform the technique, don’t serve it. It doesn’t need to be on your menu. These sauces are not only unpalatable when poorly prepared, but also evidently a health hazard, because I’ve had low grade food poisoning all morning. Yes, I am writing this from the toilet.
Anyway, I don’t want to punish your staff, so I didn’t complain in person, and I probably never will because we will not be returning unless something major changes. You have done better, you can do better.
