The food and service were excellent. I had to go with a 4 on the atmosphere because the ceiling needed some repair. It's definitely a diamond in the rough or hole in the wall kind of places. In all fairness, the building is probably well over 100 years old. That's life in NW Missouri, though. I really enjoyed it and plan to return.
Absolutely loved it here. Staff and owners were very welcoming and friendly! The food was delicious! It was in easy to access and find spot and used to be an old bank so if your driving thru and wanna check out a historic building and fill your belly with some budget friendly but yummyhomemade food....this is the place!
We just enjoyed a good lunch at KJ’s. Chicken strips, a cheeseburger & fresh cut French fries. Delicious, hot food. Excellent service by our server, Owen. He waited on us, told us about the history of the building, kept checking on us & checked us out as we left. If you’re close to Westboro, it’s worth a stop.
