Everyone single person we encountered was absolutely wonderful- The hostesses that greeted us and made sure we received a good table, excellent service during our wine tasting, and then to top it off we had the best waitress! Food was fast & delicious. The weather may of not been cooperating, but everything else was wonderful! Thank you to all your staff that helped make my sister's Birthday a special day.
The service was slow, but I think that was more the kitchen and bar's fault. We also had to get ourselves plates for the cheese plate. The water glasses smelled like mildew. Maybe clean the dishwasher . The food was good, especially the burgers and short rib ravioli. There was a fab blowing on us but it had ready chilled outside as it was dark at 7:15.
Food, service and ambience all great. Had a very enjoyable evening. Will certainly be back!
Our server Todd was great. He took on our table when he was already slammed and ensured that my iced tea was rarely empty. The food was delicious. Had pretzels, chicken skewers, and the club sandwich. All was great! Looking forward to getting back there this fall as the weather cools down.
Our first visit was very impressive. We loved the grounds. There are so many experiences one can have here! We did a wine tasting with Caitlyn--outstanding! She was knowledgeable and helped us find our favorites. We ate in the restaurant and ordered the prime rib (you have to ask for the horseradish sauce!) and the Stroganoff Short Rib Ravioli (Divine.) Both dishes were excellent and cooked perfectly. Surprisingly, there was no bread basket or specialty "chef's favorite" starter. The shrimp cocktail was underwhelming; the sauce was mild but good. We will be back to try more of the dishes! Our favorite wine was the Reserve Merlot, delicious for food pairings or just sipping.
My wife and I had a great time at Cedar Lake Cellars. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were all excellent as always! We will surely go there again next time we're in the area.
Everything was nice except there was a mix up with some of the ingredients in one of the side dishes that altered the taste. However, the waitress came to let us know that it was caught and offered another option. She was very pleasant but the rest of the meal was average.
We recently visited with friends and family and were denied entrance because we had our newborn grand baby with us. Some of us traveled from out of state to Hermann with a bridal party. Mind you, this was a sleeping infant in a car seat, completely covered. We would never bring a toddler or a child without checking policies first. The weekend before we visited several wineries in the Oklahoma City region without any issues. In fact, these wineries were especially accommodating to a nursing mother. We have visited wineries and breweries all over the United States and never had this issue. Furthermore, after we left, our remaining party was treated rudely by the staff, asked to move tables and then not served. They ended up leaving without ordering, as well. We immediately left Cedar Lake Cellars to visit with a large, established competitor who was also very welcoming.
Prime rib was excellent! We enjoyed the patio ambience. Service was attentive and pleasant.
Great time, great food, great wine plus outstanding service from Becca equaled a fantastic day at this beautiful winery.

Great food, great service, great wine. The Barrel Room is a fantastic music/dance venue. Many seasonal experiences are offered.
Wonderful service. The food was excellent. Such a lovely evening with outstanding service and super yummy chocolate raspberry port for dessert.
First visit for early dinner in over 5 years. Brought out of town visitor and was very disappointed in the food compared how good it was years ago. Feels like the culinary experience succumbed to the wine garden and drinking crowd. Hostess and server were incredibly unprofessional. Server was over sat with too many tables. Will not be back for dinner.
So fun, a great venue for a low stress afternoon. The staff is very accommodating and they are set up to handle your needs. We had lunch in the dining room and then enjoyed great music and vibes in the barrel room. I would recommend to anyone looking for good wine and great atmosphere.
Cedar lake cellars is truly enjoyable during their off season when they aren't as busy.
