Wish they served regular quesa, chips, tortillas and real butter as a setup. In my original hometown all these are complimentary as long as you buy a meal. If you dont buy a meal they bill a setup charge. Also, where I'm from as a desert the Mexican restaurants all give free sopapillas with butter and honey. They made plenty of profit. Seems like the restaurants in Amory are a bit greedy.

Absolutely unprofessional experience at El Veracruz. I paid for my food and didn’t even get to eat it. It was my first time here, and I ordered a taco salad not knowing it came with guacamole, which I don’t eat. When I brought it up, the manager laughed and said, “You think it’s my fault?” No apology, no attempt to fix it, just rude and dismissive. I walked out with food I couldn’t eat. Terrible customer service. I’ll never be back and don’t recommend this place to anyone

March 8, 2025 First time eating there. Party of 10 Got seated promptly Service was really good. Never had an empty or close to empty glass. Always checking to see if everything was OK. Servers were polite and kind. The Bithhday Teen got an unexpected whipped cream pie in the face just after they sang the Birthday song. We Loved it! Happy Birthday!
I ordered a chimichanga and on the menu it said that it came with shrimp, crab meat, and craw fish with a side of rice and beans and guacamole salad. I got what I ordered except that the first plate I got, had a hair in it and they added muscles and octopus to my chimichanga. Again which was not included in the menu. I had it remade without the muscles and octopus got it back and it still had octopus in it food was good other than that.

We had a party of 12 adults and 3 children. I called earlier in the day to make sure they could accommodate all of us. The person I spoke to on the phone was very polite and assured me this would not be a problem. When I arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and the table was set up with chips and salsa. Our waiter(I failed to get his name) was fantastic. He got everyone’s order correct and even had all the tickets separated correctly. The food was delicious and no one had to send anything back. I would highly recommend going here to eat.
