The food is good but the respect to military service is poor. They will only acknowledge and give a veteran discount to soldiers in uniform. Not all veterans are still in uniform. Some of us are due to time served or injuries. It’s shameful to us getting refused with such lackadaisical smile. Other than that the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. You just can’t only acknowledge a few soldiers and not all. It’s not very American.

I grew up eating at this place weekly. I love catfish and can eat daily. Ms. Linda has always made the best fish. I can tell when she hasn't cooked the fish now. It has no season. My fish for the last 2 times hasn't had a drop of season. That's like eating unseasoned chicken.

Half-a-century on and Pickle's is still cooking up some of the best fried catfish, hushpuppies, and (!!!!!) Salad in the South. Thankfully avoiding the recent tornadoes and storms, the place is packed for lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the accommodations are comfortable.

Very good local restaurant. I ordered the 3 chicken liver dinner with a salad and must have received 10 (if they're small, they give you more). For the salad, you get a slip listing ingredients and you choose what you want on it -- what a GREAT idea! Staff was friendly, livers were perfect, price was fair. Highly recommend!

First time there i was not sitted with a menu sat there for like 5min until I ask a young girl how do we order she said I had to go to the font desk smh then once im up there they rush you so no I will not go back again
