We never got our food. We called and ordered 3 plates and were there to pick them up 20 minutes later. Our food wasn't ready and every customer that came and ordered after us got their food and left. After 20 more minutes of waiting we just got in the car and left.

Whiting (pantrout) is my favorite, and Lamar's cooks it just right!! So so good. And the hush puppies and fried okra are delicious sides. Chefs kiss ?
Lanar's has some of the best BBQ in Northeast Mississippi. It's so good it should be preserved as a historic landmark.Make sure to grab a rib plate. ?Lamar is on top of his game. Often imitated, but never replicated.

BBQ was awesome! I was passing through town and was craving Barbeque and Lamar’s did not disappoint. They were quick and so friendly. Will definitely be back passing through town again! Fries were also on point!
