We had a party of seven. Food was really good everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I ordered half rack of ribs. It was tasty albeit a bit chewy for me. Salad bar was very good. I found the bbq beans a bit too sweet for my taste. I will try something else next time. We all had a great time.

Great restaurant. Wonderful service. Casual, laidback atmosphere. Menu is available on line. They are open varying hours/days of the week; serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were there for dinner. The chicken tender dinner was huge! Very tasty. The large ribeye was cooked perfectly. The fried catfish was delicious. The hamburger was very tasty and cooked just as requested. The pulled pork and the ribs were very flavorful and not full of fat. Every single dish was perfect. The waitress was the best. Food was served quickly and correctly!

Place was nice and homely looking. We did have to wait for clean bowls (for the salad bar) and knives. I ordered my steak cooked medium well and it was more on the rare side also was supposed to be charred cooked it has some small char marks but not what you would expect considering they charge you a different price for a charred steak. My wife got hers cooked regular and hers seemed more broiled than anything hers was done medium well so tht was a plus. We did visit around 6pm and our server did say they we just missed the rush so maybe that why our steaks are subpar.

We found this place by accident and it was a very pleasant surprise . We had steak for two. It was a thick cut and was perfectly cooked. Our baked potatoes were done but not over done. We split a fried cheesecake and it was awesome as well. Service was awesome. Open daily except Sunday from what the sign said on the door.
My husband and his older friend came in on a Saturday night around 8 pm. No one greeted them. My husband asked one of the ladies if they were still serving. She said she'd check; never returned. Several more waitresses passed us; as well as, the cashier. A white couple entered and were greeted immediately and seated. If this is the type of service Omar's provides, it's a shame. Respect goes a long way. Never will we patronize this place. You treat people right now matter the color of their skin.

Five of us traveling from out of town to visit family nearby, everyone loved everything they got. Literally everyone remarked how great the food was and how sweet our waitress was (I wish I had gotten her name). Two in our party were vegetarian and ordered enough sides for a veggie plate, loved it. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potatoe fries. The fried mushrooms for the table were really good. The house made honey mustard for a dipping sauce or to add to a sandwich is not to be missed.
